holy fuck dwolla will you deposit the pennies into my bank account so i can verify it and then start trading jesus fuck
That's what I'm waiting on right now.
BitClockers has been working on this same round for 24 hours.
BTCGuild FTW
BitClockers has been working on this same round for 24 hours.
stop bitching about it and switch to a new one holy shit
stop bitching about it and switch to a new one holy shit
I'm not bitching, I just want to finish up this round completely and then withdraw everything before I go to a different pool.
You're wasting your time in the pool right now, pulling out now will lose you like 0.00001 BTC while you could be doing actual mining elsewhere
holy shit 1,300,000 shares on bitclockers lmao i'm obviously not going to switch pools after all this that's ridiculous
What pool should I mine at next?
I want to buy 1 BTC, preferably with paypal. Any takers?
i can't connect with BTCguild.. my bat file looks like this
start /DC:\bcminer poclbm.exe --host=uswest.btcguild.com --port=8332 --user=[redacted] --pass=[redacted] --device=0 -w 256 -f 60
this exact setup worked when using bitcoin.cz, so why isnt it working
BTC has been surprisingly stable on Mt Gox
Logged in this morning, WOW LOOK AT THAT PEAK AND TROUGH oh wait it's between 19.05 and 19.04 woops :v:
also 85 mhash from a 6670  (fry's was out of 4850s unfortunately)
I'm currently mining at BTCmine.com and I've made my first 0.01 BTC! Horray! Only another 99 to go and I'll have a whole coin! :/
also 85 mhash from a 6670  (fry's was out of 4850s unfortunately)
what exactly was wrong with your GTS 450? you probably could have easily fixed it
holy shit 1,300,000 shares on bitclockers lmao i'm obviously not going to switch pools after all this that's ridiculous
"all that" is exactly WHY you should switch pools a streak of bad luck destroys profit for small pools get in one thats at least 150 ghash
0.1BTC I'm getting there! :v:
BTCGuild FTW
except that 2 blocks ago it took 4 hours to complete... I just shut down poclbm after the first 1.5hrs and waited it out, I've been through a 3 hour block before, my profit was no different than a block that I'm in for 10 minutes. Of course I'm not mining 24/7, I just have poclbm running on my desktop whenever I'm not doing anything or not at my computer... I have 0.01BTC in my account right now, 0.02BTC on BTC Guild between unconfirmed and confirmed rewards. [editline]16th June 2011[/editline] now it's 3 blocks ago...
BitCoins simply don't work because anyone can do this. Mining is marginally profitable and less so day by day. You're making $15/day from your bitcoins? Good luck making a living out of that, hell you're not even paying electricity.
But people aren't doing this to make a living. It's literally free money for now. Electricity cost is under the money you make mining, and anyone with a decent graphics card can do it. My machine would be doing nothing otherwise; I also have a job that provides me money ON TOP of the money I'm making with bitcoin. And if the market crashes tomorrow? Who cares. I didn't lose anything.
"all that" is exactly WHY you should switch pools a streak of bad luck destroys profit for small pools get in one thats at least 150 ghash
why would i do that for a profit of like 0.003
You get smaller payments more often, this isn't hard to understand. Your payout per block is (Your shares / total shares) * 50. Larger pools will have higher total shares, but they'll also get through blocks quicker. No pool is going to give "better" payouts besides the 0-3% they take off which really doesn't make a difference. The smaller the pool, the more luck plays a role.
I want to buy 1 BTC, preferably with paypal. Any takers?
Is that offer still up? :v: I could use some quick cash.
what exactly was wrong with your GTS 450? you probably could have easily fixed it
when it was in my computer wouldn't post for some reason

Anyone registered on Bitmarket.eu? Seems to be very hard to get verified. [editline]16th June 2011[/editline]
Where did you sell it?
http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=13258.0
Oh you have got to be fucking kidding me. I checked my bank account fast to see if I got my money from MtGox already. I did. 13.30€ I'm like, wait what, I took 19.59$ from my account. Google 19.59USD to euros. 13.84€ I can accept half an euro in fees that come from processing etc. but Jesus I forgot USD is sucking this fucking bad.
Anyone registered on Bitmarket.eu? Seems to be very hard to get verified.
All it took for me was an ebay account with 3 positive feedback. Bitmarket.eu isn't even that good anyway, britcoin is much better if you're in the UK, otherwise mtgox.
