Does MtGox support paypal?
Wait, what the fuck? If 1 bitcoin is at $19.75 and you made a $100 purchase, you'd get $98.75 back if you sold all 5 right now. That's..not right?
No it's 0.5% so I'd imagine for 100usd purchase you'd get 0.5% of 100 usd in BTC so that's 50cents in BTC
Does MtGox support paypal?
nope
Does MtGox support paypal?
No, paypal doesn't support BTC because it is a rival and virtual currency (aka bad for them) God damn I missed my 2nd 5850 arriving today so now I have to wait until tomorrow to get 600Mhash
Does MtGox support paypal?
VirWoX is pretty much the only way to buy BTC with Paypal, and the exchange rate and fees are horrendous. I tried it for the lulz and it ended up costing 54 EUR for 2.98 BTC.
when did you buy?
2 days ago, exchange rate on mtgox was about the same as it is currently
I decided not to do Bitcoin, I have a job that pays very well so it's not worth it for me. :v: Good luck to the rest of you.
Liberty Reserve is a mess, I can't find anything. Apparently that want me to use third parties to transfer my money from Liberty Reserve to something. Since I don't have a bank account and I'm not going to explain how bitcoins work to my mother, who can barely work the digital cable box, I need Paypal. Is there some sort of alternative to MtGox that's still heavily used and not sketchy?

Borderline zero earnings and mining profitability is dropping exponentially.

It's like an unspoken tradition to go to the bank with your kid when they're like 2-3 years old and open them a bank account.

I just have no access to it haha. I would probably be able to if I had some sort of job, though I'm practically useless for anything that a teenager with no experience would be hired to do. I may just use it with Bitegg and dump money into Newegg.ca giftcards, unless I have a non-sketchy way of getting that money into Paypal.
backing out of mining now that i finally have some btc to trade with on gox just made 0.8 BTC in 2 minutes, woop
Does anyone know why my MSI afterburner settings don't stay? I set my memory clock to 685 mhz (the lowest on the slider) but it still jumps to 1375 mhz whenever my GPU goes on full load. Typically, it's at 150 mhz, so I assume there's some kind of mechanism that lowers the clock automatically when I'm not using the GPU. Does anyone know what would do this and how I can disable it?
backing out of mining now that i finally have some btc to trade with on gox just made 0.8 BTC in 2 minutes, woop
How? The market has been barely fluctuating
in the past hour it's bouncing between 18.2 and 16.5 constantly
Just started mining with bitcoin on my Radeon HD 5550, is 42.5 Mhash/s good? [editline]16th June 2011[/editline] Also how does mt Gox work? When I get some BTC I want to trade it for some USD on a paypal
42 mhash/s isn't all that great but it's not bad and paypal isn't an option on gox, you can use dwolla, but you're going to have to wait for their slow asses to verify everything blah blah
So is there a BTC to USD site that isn't shady that supports Paypal? Or can I transfer the fees from Dwolla to Paypal? Want the cash to be in Paypal because that's support like, everywhere
dwolla deposits right to your bank account so you can skip the middle man
dwolla deposits right to your bank account so you can skip the middle man
yeah but I'd rather set it up through paypal instead of having to deal with my bank
The bitcoin price keeps dropping.
Anyone willing to sell Bitcoins via paypal?
They don't really like people conducting bitcoin related transactions. That's why I'm not using them, I'd rather not have my PayPal account frozen.
Oh okay, nevermind.
The bitcoin price keeps dropping.
Wish britcoin would hurry up and validate the £100 I deposited :saddowns:
i hope i can get .50 bitcoins so i can get a vps from leetnet [editline]17th June 2011[/editline] god DAMN WHY IS THIS BLOCK TAKING SO LONG
About to mine for 9 days straight. Going on vacation and leaving my computer at home. :smug: [editline]17th June 2011[/editline] Yeah. I'm really optimistic about leaving my computer on while I go on vacation.

Make sure yours doesn't do that.
