I've been thinking of buying a new rig and it seems to be a good time to do it. As it seems buying a high end GPU (or two) pays back. Recommend me something suitable for mining. Budget somewhere around 900-1200$.

Because I am a nice person
[QUOTE=SCopE5000;30581032]I've started using Bitcoin7, the prices are low (Selling @ 13 dollars currently) and you withdraw directly to your bitcoin wallet, so you can then sell bitcoin on other markets.

Site reeks of sketchy and has a small user base so I would reccomend just going with Tradehill, who also has low prices, a referrer system, and was established by a well respected member of the community. Plus it has a larger trading base, as people trust it more.

lucky bastard
I've been running GUIMiner for about 2 weeks, for about half a day every day now. I run at 29Mhash/s and have in 2 weeks, accumulated 1/10 of a Bitcoin. Not so enthusiastic so far.

I actually lost money there because I forgot I put that 0.01 charge in the options :/

Yes, but unlike most people, I honestly DON'T have the money to go out and buy a decent ATI card.
Would anyone be interested in a money 1.25x for fpers only?
It would work like this
person A puts in 1 BTC to be 1.25x (pool 0.975 2.5% fee)
person B puts in 0.5BTC(0.4875 goes in pool now at 1.4625)
Enough money to pay out to person A is in pool now
person A gets payd out 1.25BTC(pool now at 0.2125)
and so on and so forth.

Wait until price of BTC is high, sell them, wait until it is low, buy them. You have just gained BTC

Obvious. It's a chance game, you might make money, you might loose money.

Hell yeah, not bad for 10 minutes.
I hope it's accurate.

No one is interested in the ponzi scheme?
how much is .181 bitcoin worth at this moment? cant calc myself since mtgox is down
Since Bitcoins aren't recognized by any government, doesn't that mean that pyramid schemes etc. could be done without any consequence?
How would you prosecute that?

Is it even worth the effort to mine bitcoins now, with the massive downturn in price?
I could pull a decent ~600mh/s

That downturn was a bubble. It should go back up.
