Underload, my 5850 clocks @ 765 with memory clock @ 1125. But like I said, I'm never one to mess around with clock speeds, so I'm stuck at 290. Also, not huge, but I get 5 Mhash/sec more than what you use with this:
DEVICE=0 -v -q 1 -k phatk WORKSIZE=128 VECTORS BFI_INT AGGRESSION=8 FASTLOOP=false
There's literally no reason not to change the clock speeds unless you game at the same time. Lowering your memory clocks to 300mhz will noticeably lower your temps.
not worth investing in. Tibcoin seems unstable anyway, wouldn't wanna take the risk and put money into it.
GUIMiner is telling me I don't have an OpenCL device after one restart.
What do I do?
What graphics card do you have?
It's an HD6750 but I fixed the problem. Turns out ATi released new Catalyst drivers 8 days ago and I needed to update them in order for my OpenCL driver to work.

Should've waited until Mt. Gox comes back up and the block difficulty goes up 50%

That would've been a good idea, though I've been putting off upgrading my CPU cooler for too long. Under load, it goes over 70 degrees celcius, which happens to be the "Limit" for this CPU. $15 off a $30 purchase is pretty good IMO.

are you upgrading from stock or do you have another nonstock? if so, what socket, which one, and how much?
Right now, I'm using the stock heatsink on my Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400. It's a socket 775 CPU.
I already chose the Cooler Master Hyper TX3, since it has pretty good reviews: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103064
Do you think the prices will rise when mtgox comes back up?
Yes, the market should stabilize again, and with the block difficulty increase, we could easily see the market hit $25.

It will not be instant. It will take a few weeks. If it goes up suddenly, there will be a sudden and huge selloff.
should I buy them now then at $16?
I want to start buying/selling bitcoins, how would I go about starting this and what would be a good minimum amount of money to invest in the first place?
Ouch, Mtgox extends launch another 24 hours. At this rate, tomorrow is gonna see a major jump near all at once in the price of btc.
wow so basically due to the fact that somehow it's not fair to work while actually having the site working like normal, i have to fucking wait until sunday to get my giftcards and will miss out on the fucking high prices
fucking dumb
Set buy price for $14 for 3.5 bitcoins. Too low?
I'll ask again because I can't find any info on the internet; How do I get into the bitcoin trading market?
Set buy price for $14 for 3.5 bitcoins. Too low?
ugh you're actually buying bitcoins
as soon as mtgox is back up everyone is going to cut and run and the price will tank

I second this statement here
(I'm sorry but after 42 pages I just don't have the time or patience to go through all the puns, complaints, and insights to get the answer myself :P)

Canelled my buy orders ;u
I hope mtgox doesn't come back up with the orders still in place - I had a sell order in at $14/BTC :saddowns:
Cobbled together a script with their API to try every minute to cancel it, but inb4 it either doesn't work or the API isn't enabled along with the site. Sadly I will miss the 1 hour non trading period :(
1364 mhash/s giggity giggity.
How
I have 3 old computers, how do I cluster them to do Bitcoin mining?
When the exchange rate goes up I'm gonna grab me some of that BitEgg gift card.
