Finally got it working, Mining pretty slow on a HD4650.
25MH/s :/
you're not going to get anywhere with that
I know.
I need an upgrade. New HDD and maybe a GPU and a new CPU wouldn't be bad too.
Could anyone help me on this miner problem?

Thanks
Try pheonixminer

Awesome, I am saving up 3.5 bitcoins to get the OpenGL Superbible
Someone should make a Miner that automatically kicks in when your computer is idle.

Kind of a screensaver miner?
Didn't F@H, SETI or some of the other number-crunching projects have something like that??

Same here but it's not being used for anything else.
Hashing at a glorious 60 MH/s!

folding@home used all cores regardless of load. Not sure about SETI but that sorta is going to get shut down soon if SETI does not get enough money to keep running.
Okay, I took the wallet.dat from my main comp and tried to use it on my laptop, and it says everything is unconfirmed. Will these eventually confirm or what?

NVM, it has to download the block chain.
After about 2 days I now have 0.06 BC, going at 300Mhash/s with a HD5870.
By the time I get 0.7 BC for a $10 gift card my power bill will probably be like $100+, assuming it'll take me 22 days at this rate to get 0.7 BC.

[editline]25th June 2011[/editline]
try http://mining.bitcoin.cz/
and if you're using guiminer switch to phoenix for an extra 40 or so mhash
just deposited another $40 into my gox account, ready to do battle in several hours when trading opens
can't wait to laugh at the loud handful of fools jumping the mtgox ship
protip: tradehill copied mtgox's template before the breach, soooo guess who has those same security flaws now?

What nightmarexx said. His site or even btcguild would probably help you out immensely, assuming your mining constantly to get to that .06 . Also, 5870s can easily get into the 400-450 range, might check out different options to boost your mhash rate. The biggest one being to switch to pheonix. Check out this page: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison it shows some good tips for how others got certain mash rates with various cards.

Had. The guys running Tradehill aren't stupid enough to do nothing about seeing Mtgox get breached, and would implement all if not more than what Mtgox is implementing, or risk losing their customer base just the same as Mtgox. And, jumping the Mtgox ship hardly effects traders. Both site's markets are relatively the same, and even at extremes, I've never seen them more than 50 cents off, and even then, they didn't stay separated for long. The only major issue is the volume of trades happening, but even that is becoming more equal with more folks leaving Mtgox.
I'm not receiving a password reset link from MTGox when I put my email or username in, is something wrong? is all my 1.2 bitcoins gone? :(
I'm glad I have no currency in MtGox right now.
I now have 0.20 bitcoins, you all jelly?
I'm building a computer for my brother soon hopefully I can get 2 5850's in it.

1.36BTC
geeetttt fuuuucckkkeeddd
3.1
The best estimate that I could find for currency in circulation(in the US) is 2000 Billion USD.
If bitcoins ever reached that level of use, each coin would be worth about 95,000 USD.
I think I'm going to hold onto one just in case...
Just hit 4 BTC :buddy:
so what's the price supposed to jump up to when Mt. Gox's trading comes back online?
It's online now, it seems. Right now, it's at about 15.
