Looking through those screenshots, they made some questionable design choices. Am I the only one who thinks the new spelling of "Kalkylator" and this so called "Kamera" is ridiculous?
did you know? some people speak english as a second language
I am getting error 13. Any fixes?
did you know? some people speak english as a second language
Guess you forgot what a joke was.
I have the 8gb iPod Touch that is branded as 3G, but doesn't have 3G hardware, what firmware do I use?
Guess you forgot what a joke was.
wait that post was a joke? where's the funny part?
I have the 8gb iPod Touch that is branded as 3G, but doesn't have 3G hardware, what firmware do I use?
2G firmware worked for me.
wait that post was a joke? where's the funny part?
The part where it's obviously in another language...
what the actual fuck is this 3014 error i can't restore even legitimately
You have to restore in DFU mode to get out of the 3014 error.
I'm gonna wait for the jailbreak, but what iPhone do you have? Can someone with the 3GS confirm that multitasking works good now?
You have to restore in DFU mode to get out of the 3014 error.

Step 1. Turn off your iPhone. Step 2. Hold down the power and home button. Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down. Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that its in restore mode. Alternative Method: Step 1. Connect iphone to USB then listen to the sound when it connect and disconnect. Step 2. Hold the home and power buttons until hear the disconnect sound then release power button. Step 3. Wait until you hear another sound then release home button.
Doing that?
The alternative method. If it's in DFU mode, the screen shouldn't be showing anything.
-snip- I'm stupid. Rate me box
It still got the error even though its in DFU mode
still an error even in DFU mode. any other suggestions?
bam der it is error in dfu and i guess you guys beat me to it
It still got the error even though its in DFU mode
Are you trying to install the current version (3.1.3) or 4.0 GM? Try putting on 3.1.3 in DFU.
im assuming we are all trying to put on 4.0 GM
Are you trying to install the current version (3.1.3) or 4.0 GM? Try putting on 3.1.3 in DFU.
I'm on 3.1.2 trying to get to 4.0, should I go to 3.1.3 first?
I'm gonna wait for the jailbreak, but what iPhone do you have? Can someone with the 3GS confirm that multitasking works good now?
Nope, cause apps have to be written specifically to enable multitasking. iOS 4 isn't "offically" out, so why would they bother?
I'm on 3.1.2 trying to get to 4.0, should I go to 3.1.3 first?
No I didn't. However, are you trying to upgrade? I couldn't get mine to perform an upgrade from 3.1.2, so I went straight to 4.0 and restored from a backup. Also, http://blog.mcchouse.com/2009/08/iphone-os-301-update-error-3014.html Another reason for the 3014 error is corrupted IPSW files.
3.1.3 is no go for me too
Nope, cause apps have to be written specifically to enable multitasking. iOS 4 isn't "offically" out, so why would they bother?
To get ahead of the pack?
i used hotspot earlier and that didn't work but let's see if it works this time [editline]06:54AM[/editline] nopes
How early does the error come up? And what have you tried to do so far?
How early does the error come up? And what have you tried to do so far?
I have the same problem. The error comes up as soon as it goes to validating/contacting with apple. Tried DFU. Current version 3.1.3
I have the same problem. The error comes up as soon as it goes to validating/contacting with apple. Tried DFU. Current version 3.1.3
That could either be a driver error (communicating with the device causes it to have a hissy fit) or a problem communicating with the iTunes auth server. Try uninstalling iTunes 9.2, restart, install iTunes 9.2, restart and then restore.
Comes up for me at the end of the extraction of the .ipsw file
Comes up for me at the end of the extraction of the .ipsw file
Same here.
i think she's working now
