I can't stand talking to computer illiterate people about computers.

From what I've heard from lots of people, XP > Vista.
Haven't tried Vista yet, and probably not planning to.

Utter poppycock.
Good day.
Shows how stupid some of the employees are in the Geek Squad, And I remember back in the day when I was a computer idiot and I trusted these guys :( A few friends of mine work there now, I bet the amount of customers at that counter has went up since then.
It actually shows nothing. For starters you are basing your opinion of all Geek squad employees on one incident. You also asked the question with the sole intent of making him look dumb, giving rise to the possibility that you asked the question in such a way to desperately confuse him, or he realized you were trying to trick him and gave you a dumb answer just to mess with you.
There's so many illiterates right here in this forum. It's terrible.
If you don't know much about computers, don't act like you do.
If you are a novice to computers. Ask questions you can't find on Google.
If you are computer literate, don't be a bitch to everyone else. Everyone has to start somewhere.

I don't think every Geek Squad employee is stupid, I have met a few here that actually know what they are talking about. The fact is this guy didn't know anything and the look on his face sealed the deal, about a month after I asked that question I heard he was fired. I am not saying he is a dumbass in general, but having a job at a place where you work around computers you have to know about computers. So obviously working with the Geek Squad wasn't his cup of tea.

http://www.mojaveexperiment.com/?WT.srch=1 This shows you the power of human opinion. Don't believe the bad rumors of Vista. Vista is indeed a good OS, just had its fair share of bugs...that were fixed with SP1. I'm thinking about dropping my ailing Xp for good.

I like Microsoft's new take on things. They have really turned it around, Their ad campaigns, Their user support, Their general 'morale' code when it comes to software.
I personally think MS couldn't have tackled the Vista image issue in a better way than they have with Mojave..
I haven't noticed worse performance in any of my games under Vista, exception being Lost Planet locking up (though I was screwing with memory addresses so it's my own fault). Same goes for RAM and general programs. Everything works the way it's supposed to. It manages the RAM very well.
My mom does that i say i need a thermal cream and she says will that mess up your hard drive!
Some people aren't too smart with computers. Although it isn't that hard to understand.
It seems only about 20 percent of computer users know how to unzip a folder.

Most people I know don't even know what a .rar is :/
Really, as long as you have the more bang for buck 9600GT, at least some decent 2Gb DDR2 RAM, and a $80 Core 2 Duo E2180, Vista is awesome! Vista noob either had a Vista without a service pack or a shitty PC. Vista without the service pack is useless for gaming, because of a major flaw with the memory handling within Vista, which was fixed before the SP1, but was released with SP1 to ease trying to find it.

Ooh! Now I really want to know about that stat, since gmod.org only allows ZIP files.

And people who play garry's mod are probably more intelligent than your average person who never gets past myspace when they get on the internet.

I have to agree with you Sir

You're probably right about that, else we'd have worse than:
OMG HOWS DO YA GET THIS TO WORK?! WHY AM I GETTING EROORS? WAT IS TEH Q MENU? WAT IS GMOD?
At least this has thought me how to read horrible grammar...

It just shows that those people don't like the UI of Vista and prefer the Mojave one.
Who honestly needs 500 GB?
I can barely live off of 500GB. :(
It just shows that those people don't like the UI of Vista and prefer the Mojave one.
I haven't heard anything saying that Majave has a different UI.
I hate people that get Ghz and GB confused.
I can easily live off of 150, maybe less.

80 is the most I need, seriously.

I've got 1 terabyte of space, and I can honestly see me using it all up. Within the first week of getting my new PC, I'd used over 500 G's.
I copied the desktop of a friend once, and then I put this on top of it in paint:

You should have seen his face :v:
I just got in a fight with a Mac Bigot who was convinced I have Viruses just because I use Windows. I even told him I don't even use Anti Virus and I'm cleaner than he is with his Mac.
Also he thinks his Mac runs Call of Duty 4 better than my gaming PC. :/
Edit:
Also, he thinks Macs somehow have larger monitors...
My phone line comes through the wall and plugs into my hard drive.
When I say "Dad, no I cannot go to the fucking campground with you. I'm trying to finish this script which I haven't even started and is supposed to be finished in two days." he usually goes "I'M SICK OF YER FUCKIN VIDYO GAMES GET IN THA FUCKIN CAR BEFORE I DRAG YOU IN THERE BY YOUR THROAT."
Meanwhile he is in serious debt because his web-based business flopped.
I've used my 80 gig HDD for years, have all my Steam games on here, all my music, pictures, everything and I'm only using about 40 gigs (half).

People give me shit for this and then they realize how computer illiterate they are when I begin to speak... *God-like pose*
Shit, I am running out of hard drive space. Where can I download more?
The only thing I could think of needing 500 GB of space is people who like to make and edit movies. A lot of people keep the uncompressed video and that can take up TONS of space.
I have a 120gb for my home movies and stock video and stock pictures and stuff.
Then my main 500gb for all my music, projects, video, games etc. I own a HD camera and I usually store my video in lossless 720p. Which as you might expect, is big. I got about 90gb on my 120, and about 235 on my 500.

Mojave is Vista, there is no difference, it is a test to show that people would like Vista if they saw it for themselves.
