I can't stand talking to computer illiterate people about computers.

It's really annoying when they do the opposite to me. When I have friends over and we're watching something on YouTube or elsewhere and the video has to pause to load, they're always like "FFFFFFF, YOUR COMPUTER SUCKS. MINE IS WAY BETTER." :argh:
I hate it when people are like why doesn't my pc work anymore I thought you said this would last me a long time. just to go find everything and her/his parent's porno was downloaded onto the computer I built.
LOl at school:

I think he has a 4600+ X2 which is clocked at 2.1ghz if my memory serves me right
Get over it? Does it really matter no it's just usual I must have the biggest ever egoa and pride. No one is couting up you school, or how cool you are. Living life to impress other people is really sad.
Luckly my 3 other friends know much more about Pc's.
I think he has a 4600+ X2 which is clocked at 2.1ghz if my memory serves me right
I think it's higher, my 4400+ is clocked @ 2310 MHz
I just had my first experience, trying to help a guy get his skins into CSS working just fine, and then I asked him if I was gonna get paid, and then there's this, a chatlolg

It's like the guy never completed a junior high school level english course, and he can't remember what I did a day ago for him (which is what ephemeral essentially is, 24 hours)
I have to agree with the OP. I just got an alienware laptop that I am now taking to school, and people try and tell me about their specs (mainly HD space and thickness of their laptop. Here is almost exactly how it goes:
Person: "Cool laptop, I like the alien on the back! how much hard drive space does it have, mine has 500GB."
Me: "320GB"
Person: "Oh, then my laptop is better"
Me: "No, mine is 7,200RPM and has 16MB cache, and I am sure yours is 5,400RPM with 8MB cache"
Person: "what?"
And the most frustrating situation ever:
Person: "Wait, isn't this that shitty brand" (pointing at my laptop)
Me: "No, it's actually pretty high end"
Person: "Yeah, but look, it has only a 1.3MP Webcam"
Me: "ok, but I never use the webcam. This laptop has a 17 inch screen with 1920x1200 resolution, an intel core 2 duo T7400,..(long list of my specs)
Person: "yeah, but the webcam is still bad"
Me: "I don't even use it!"
Person: Well yeah, but.." (teacher walks in room and she goes to her seat and I put away my laptop and pull out my books (sometimes I get to class really early, so I pull out my laptop for 5-10 mins))
Yeah.. But there are a few people out there who really understand what makes a good computer, most of them have their own gaming laptops.

What intriuges me is why you asked to be paid for something so simple in the first place.
I hate people that get Ghz and GB confused.
I can easily live off of 150, maybe less.
Who honestly needs 500 GB?
Me.
Also garrysmod.org needs 500Gb+, since they need storage for good and shitty content.
They would do just fine with 500Gb HDD, if they remove all shitty content from garrysmod.org :v:
Someone: Hey, I heard you were good with computers
Me: I guess I am pretty decent at it.
Someone: So if I had a computer problem you would probably know how to fix it.
Me: Yes, likely, or I would find a solution on the internet.
Someone: So, uuh, what if I have a very complicated problem.
Me: Let's just hear it. ( I don't want to hear it at all. )
Someone: I have this program called Windows Media Player...
Me: Yes.
Someone: Oh good, you've heard of it already!
Me: ...
Someone: I used to be able to burn 80 minutes of audio on CD with it
*Me thinking: What a dumbfuck, just use something like Nero or Alcohol to burn CDs.*
Someone: but, since I bought my CDs from another store only 70 minutes go on it, so I'm really confused and I checked the settings a hundred times.
Me: omg just buy a proper program. lololol.
I go on explaining how WMP shouldn't be used to burn CDs in the first place.
WMP made a CD I burned make it sound like the singer was drowning, which both failed and won at the same time as it was a BoyZone CD for my Mum (gah!), so drowning poof=win, but it wasted a perfectly good disk (fail).
I still wonder how people can be so fucktarded that they confuse Hard drives with RAM, it's almost like a rhetorical question.
I hate people who don't know the difference between memory and hard drive space. Computer illiterate people irk me.
I hate those commercials on TV that show people PCs moving slowly and getting errors and BSODs and the actors sit there acting all confused and shit and some guy is all like

I'm like the only one in my class that is good at PCs and i hate people who goes "I've just bought a new PC with 700gb HDD so my pc pwns yours hahahaha"
EDIT: I only use a HDD of 150gb and it works very well but i tend to fill it up extremely fast, before i reformated the HDD i had like 5gb left, hehe

Damn what a stupid bastard...
One of my class mates talked to me yesterday on msn about this program and literally wanted me to guide her through EACH AND EVERY STEP OF DRAWING A SIMPLE CURVE.
I suddenly facepalmed...
HALP THERES A BUDGIE STUCK IN MY WINDOWS VISTA!
Me: So do your computer have a network card?
A guy that thinks he knows about computers: No? I have a internet connection that i plug right into my computer.

Well you don't know much considering Mobo's have built in ones.
Well you don't know much considering Mobo's have built in ones.
Well, he didn't actually display any knowledge of the question. If he were smart he would have just said "yes" or "no, it's built in".
Last year my dad asked me if I wanted Dell or Windows XP.
