Same. I can't talk to people about computers unless they know there shit or else I just give up on them, Also I live with 75GB of space on my computer. I just put game files on disk's and when I feel like play a game like from steam I just take the files off the disk and put them back on my computer in the right folders.
I hate those commercials on TV that show people PCs moving slowly and getting errors and BSODs and the actors sit there acting all confused and shit and some guy is all like
Yeah, it makes me feel bad for people that fall into those scams. Like old people.

I enjoy dell commercials more, because they're all lies:
Come buy our shit! It's got Windows Vista n' shit yo! We promise that it won't run liek shat cuz we only putted 1 gig of DDR ram in.
I hate it when my friends tell me my computer sucks. They think this because my internet always cuts out on me. I try to explain to them but they just go "its your computer", even though I custom built mine with pretty decent parts (E6750, 8800GT, 2GB ram, you know, the works) for $1000~ and they got there shit pre-built computers for 2 grand.
One even told me he had a quadcore processor, therefore making it good. When I checked out his other parts I realized he was being bottled down by his video card, which was a 5200. I didn't bother to say anything because of how ignorant this one guy was.
I was at Best Buy once, and this Woman asked me a question, she's like,
Woman: How much ram do you have?
Me: 2 Gigs.
Woman: Wow, that's small. I have 250 gigs.
Me: That's your hard drive space. Ram is Random access memory.
Woman: No it's not.
I just walked away.
For a while I had to live on a 28GB hard drive. I was downloading a mod for gmod and windows ran out of space. That shit was scary.
I also just formatted and put vista on a 12.7GB hard drive for my server.
This happened Monday.
Friend : Dude! How much RAM do you have?
Me : 1GB
Friend : HAHAHA!, I have 512mb!
Me : That's half of mine
Friend : Shut up go away
:( Then i was sad for the whole day.
let's go to computer stupidities

That's why I like my friends. They don't know much about computer and don't think they do. So we never talk about computers.
dude i got 800 Gig my pc owns yours so hard
good thing is my friends all know their stuff, and my family never says dumb stuff when they don't know it :)
I don't like talking to computer illiterate people either, my friend told me he almost bought a mac because the commercials said they were better
I hate people that get Ghz and GB confused.
Also, only idiots use 500 GB of hard drive space.
I can easily live off of 150, maybe less.
Who honestly needs 500 GB?
I have a TV tuner on my computer. I have something like 200GB of shows and movies recorded on here
I try not to talk much about computer unless for some reason I think they did something stupid (like paid over price or installed something retarded).
Also being Asian makes me look already computer smart. People who talk to me question themselves on their computers.
Edit:
I have a 1.25TB of space for no reason. Well actually it's for backups of mine laptop and anime and games.

idiots? You sir are an idiot, i have a 500GB HDD and a 120GB HDD, all used for my music and videos.
And it doesn't make you an idiot for having a big HDD.
Just because you only need 120, don't mean others need that. Some might need less or more.

Not you guys.
The people who buy from dell never need 500 GB.
My mom's had her dell with a 40 GB hard drive for 4 years, and she's never had to delete anything.

Yes I do.
Yes I do.
And you own a dell?
And wouldn't consider yourself computer savvy?
And don't download/have movies on your hard drive.

GHz
:science::excited:
Also, I don't like dealing with computer illiterate people...but it's my job (as I do work at a PC shop right now). Also, as Zoloft stated...if offers job security. If everyone on this planet could easily fix their own PC, there would be no need for tech support.

I could do with one personally. Though I'd chop it up into partitions
And you own a dell?

I own a Dell Inspiron 530.
I am Computer Savvy enough to OC the Q6600 in mine Dell to 3.0Ghz even though the BIOs is locked.
Enough to help people at LAN Parties when I used to do them.
Hack mine router and recover from a bad flash.
Enough to install more hardware.
Also enough to only buy it from Dell since it was cheap with a combo deal with a monitor [hardware and monitor alone is worth more than the computer it self (580USD)]
Then I have tons of games.
I also backup my laptop on this computer as well, I do photo editing, video converting, etc. I also download as well, I store mine camera photos and movies I record onto my PC.
Haha christarp i have 1000 gigs.
I don't have to deal with morons because everyone in my peer group knows I'm savvy and doesn't question me unless I'm obviously wrong.
I get questions like this where I work:
"What the hell is a jay-peg?"
:downs:
I can't stand when pricks act like they know what they're talking about.
"oh man that guy is a hacker, he hacked the school stuff and changed his grades"
ugh, get a grip.
I love dealing with people who have questions though. I like helping people.

I despise the Mac adverts
Love the macs, however.
Yesterday my dad made me burn down a .flv file (12mb) from Youtube to a DVD so he could show it at this camp thing. I told him it wouldn't play flv files, but he insisted that his DVD player was a special one that could play all kinds of formats.
According to my dad my old PC had an 80Ghz HDD.
That means the HDD got faster processing power than your CPU! :v:
wat do you have agaisnt us
You say and speak stupid things.
I'm one of the only people who is good at using a computer in my IT class. I AM the only one advanced enough to know programming and have the ability to build a custom rig.
It rather annoys me when they speak stupidity.
I was in my IT class a few days ago and someone asked:
"How do you open the start menu?"
I smashed my head on the desk when I heard that.
Apparently I have no life according to all of the classes i'm in because I have more free time and I choose to use it to program. I tell them I don't have free time. It's how I get paid!
Look, I live in New Zealand. Because of the exchange rate with the US, and the distance I am from manufacturers, you do in fact get more for your money when it come to buying a laptop, believe me, I did the runaround online and retail. All the gamers I know at Uni have Dell laptops for that reason.
I got an XPSM1530, and haven't had any complaints.
But to fuck with buying a Dell desktop, mind you.
What else, yeah I hate the fact after having a computer for about 10 years they still craw from across the house WHEEEEEEEERE'S WERD? and HOW DO YOU SEND AN EMAIL?! whenever you're home :P
I don't mind talking to computer illiterate people, but I do mind talking to ignorant and/or arrogant computer illiterate people. They just get me so worked up I don't bother with them.

Hahaha, I was playing Age of Conan yesterday and this guy was like "I have 2.4GHz of RAM on my computer" Then everyone in the chat snapped and was telling him he was wrong.
He then flipped out thinking he was the genius and tried to teach us it was GHz!
Also, I can't live off of 150GB!!
I currently have 77GB left on a 291GB Hard drive. :v:
Man, my school is funny. There is only around 15 people in the entire school doing IT Gcse (one of which being me) and I'm pretty sure half of us know more than the IT teacher and technicains whos only way of fixing a broken computer is "Leave it like that for several months and hope it restores itself" The other half of my class are inbred retards who "want to haxz cos its wikid an I'm so l33t i googles the word hack" who only chose IT because they thought it'd be a dos lesson.
