lol i know rite? i can go on redtoobe and everythin!
Also, IT Crowd .
I had 500gb of HDD, and I'm down to about, 75gb.
My 320 (~290) gig hard drive has about 100 gigs left, and I could clear out about 50 or so by removing all of my backed up disk images and games I don't play.
Why do people use up so much space? I don't get it.

If you're as clumsy as I am, retail CDs don't last more than a year

On harddrive space: 500gb minimum for any gamer. My Gmod folder alone dwarfs my Vista folder. It's huge!
On retards: I met one once that thought the size of the CPU cooler indicated the performance of the CPU under it. I brought my PC in, which at the time sported an Athlon 64 3800+ overclocked to 2.6ghz. Ontop of that is a fucking massive GeminII. Here's about how the convo went:
Kid: Hey, that's the fastest procesor I've ever seen.
Me: Then you've never seen a dual core.
Kid: Yes I have, but yours is bigger. IT must be a quad core.
Me: No, stupid, that's the cooler. I only have a single core.
Kid: It's faster than a dual, tho, it's huge.
Me: No, dumbass, that's the cooler. I overclocked it, I need a bigger heatsink to cool it.
Kid: Over...clock? Is that some way of doubling your ram?
Me: Get away. You are too dumb to be near my computer.

LOL that better have been sarcasm :v:
EDIT: Although, last time I looked at my steam folder it was like 60gb...

Wow your such a nice person! :rolleye:
Backed up disk images. Right...
If I have the space to spare why not make backups? More convenient than clumsily putting the disk in the tray. since I have the legal copies of the games, if I run out of space I can always delete the backups.
What can I say...games are huge. :P

"oh man that guy is a hacker, he hacked the school stuff and changed his grades"
I know a kid who did that. He made a keylogger and ran it on the teacher's computer, got his pass word and changed his grades. Lol he got out of summer school too by doing so.
My school is BAD. They think when they bought Mohave it was something that Microsoft didn't make..Not to mention when I said I rebuilt my computer hafl of them didn't even know you could build computers from scratch. Either that the ones who think they know shit are usually like,"YEAH, I BOUGHT THIS NEW DELL..PUT IN A 600 GIG HARDRIVE ON IT THOUGH...SO ITS SUPER FAST." then their friend is like,"REALLY DAMN MAN YOU CPU MUST RUN LIKE A DREAM, DID YOU INSTALL IT." it fails when he replies,"NO I WENT TO SOME COMPUTER HARDWARE STORE..." Sad that people don't know this that are born in the technological age.
In my class, I'm always the one who needs to help if the DVD player isn't working again. :v:
It's weird to be the only one in my class who actually knows something about hardware and all that jazz. If someone asks me if I can do anything else but fixing hardware and such, I usually reply with: "Sure, I can fix your toilet too, if you want." :v:
ok dudes this has turned into a fucking stupid post your thread.
mod please lock this

You sound like an arrogant fuck.
They think when they bought Mohave it was something that Microsoft didn't make..
I highly, highly doubt your school think they bought Windows Mojave. Considering that Microsoft doesn't sell a product called Windows Mojave, and that Windows Mojave is was clearly a marketing campaign.

gone but im gonna request my thread be locked
It's funny how once they know sorta know what you're doing with a computer, they assume you can fix anything ever. :v:

Who the fuck are you?
Who the fuck are you?
i'm the OP...
i'm the OP...
... I see.
Seriously.
Especially with kids at my school unless they know their shit.
Like if I tell someone "Hey I got a new computer", they try to act all smart and say "How much hard drive space does it have? :c00l:".
I then say 300 gigs is all I need, and they go "HAHA, I have 500 gigs!, you got ripped off!"
I can't stand this.
I only need 300 gigs.
Then I ask them about other hardware, like the video card, and they just go "" and I say, I have a 3870x2, and then they go ":confused:" and just walk away, thinking to them selves that I'm an idiot for buying this computer because it doesn't have as much hard drive space.
Why this bothers me:
1. They think I'm an idiot for spending more and not getting as much hard drive space as their 3 year old machine
2. They go around telling people that I'm a computer illiterate moron (EG. "Dude, this guy thinks he got a good computer, but he only got 300 gigs HAHAH!" "REALLY?!" "YEAH" "HAHHA WHAT A MORON")
You ask for this legendary thread to be closed? Are you mad my good sir!? :monocle:

Unless I'm reading this wrong... your school bought Mojave? (Windows Mo-ha-hay) Because it doesn't exist. Mojave is vista.
I asked my friend what his new computer's specs were and he told me he had vista.
Just was talking to my brother's friend about a computer I built him. I told him I put a quad core (He's not too literate himself and a 4870, to which someone who I've never met butted in, saying "You don't need a quad core! The CPU doesn't even matter, you just need a good graphics card for games today."
rrrrr...

Mo-ha-vay
Today someone told me my computer sucks because I put XP SP3 on it instead of Vista. Then I told him I have a AMD athlon 6000+ and he said "your computer is old and gay, mine has vista and Intel and yours has XP, "then he called me a gay person
Best part is:
My computer
-AMD athlon x2 6000+ (3.0Ghz)
-2Gb's ram
-320Gb HDD
-$600 bucks
His Computer
-some Intel dual core 2.3Ghz
-1Gb ram
-220Gb HDD
-$1,500 bucks
I am not saying anything bad about Intel or AMD.
