Anyone have any idea why N64oid/every other N64 emu app doesn't have file associations?
Every other *oid has it, just not N64oid. It's really making this app I'm developing not usable for N64 games >:(

N64oid uses .z64 files, or .z64 files inside zip archives.

Nope, doesn't associate with it. When I select a .z64 in Astro it doesn't know what it is.

Apps can start other apps. Perhaps when a .z64 is detected, it could manually start N64oid?
You have to open up N64oid, then load a rom in it.

You can place shortcuts in your homescreen through the N64oid widgets.

Maybe he can check out how the n64oid shortcuts work then and mimic them in the app?

We tried that, doesn't seem to work :(
Maybe I'll shoot yongzh an email...
Does anyone know how I can stream what I see on my phone to my TV through WiFi? Media sharing and using it as a remote works.

No. HDMI only for now.
hey, i'm new to the os, did chrono trigger ever get the official port it was promised?

What device do you have? There are USB to HDMI cords. There are some devices you hook up to your TV to stream to, I believe.

Here's a micro-usb to HDMI port thinger.

I have no idea if it's compatible with all devices, or requires an app, or etc.

Anyone use USB/BT Joystick Center? My wireless xbox 360 controller is detected, and I can set the keys and stuff in the emulator settings, but then when I go to actually play the game it just doesn't fucking work.
$5 well spent...
Nevermind, got a refund from the play store. Shitty app.
As with the six axis app, there was likely an option in settings that asks to turn Gamepad mode on. I have no idea why it isn't on by default, but you need it for emulators.
Tried that, dude. I could set the buttons and everything, but when I go to the game itself it just doesn't work :\

And you set the input method to that app rather than the keyboard?
I bought the Sixaxis app for my GS2 a couple days ago, think I might be bored....

Much easier than dusting off my SNES and game. I remember some setting in the app for the controller, but also had to enable the controller in Android's Input settings like a keyboard.

Yup. Oh well, I'll figure something out. Glad I got a refund.
Turns out there's a N64 emulator for homebrewed PSPs :v: That's pretty cool.
Does anyone know if there is a way to get save files from Visual Boy Advanced to work on GameBoid?
If you save as Flash (128k); you should be able to use the .savs both applications shit out interchangeably.

Not sure how GameBoy emus store save files, but for Project 64 and N64oid and I was able to copy the save file directly from Project 64 to the folder in Android. However, it was a native in-game save, I'm not sure how or where save states are stored.

It's fine now, I was being an idiot before. I had to use the ingame save to make a .sav file for me to transfer instead of the save states.
Does N64oid use software rendering? I'm pretty sure Mupen64plus' default video plugin (rice) is a software renderer.
So apparently the reason Music Hero wasn't loading my songs was because my phone has "multiple SD cards" (really an internal storage and one SD slot but ehh details).
Master Exploder on Standard. Let's do this.
Look at this video.

Do you see how the father and son are playing checkers? I'm looking for more traditional board games like this that are playable with two or more players when using only the one device while offline. Are there any good games out there?

Tablet or phone, and does the device support multi-touch??
If tablet with multi-touch: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.snirpo.achtungdiekurve
or: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.natenai.glowhockey2 if you have a large phone or up, though only 2 players, and probably also a little bit too "wild"

Nexus 7, to be precise. I should've mentioned that I want tablet support.
Thank you for the suggestions too! I'll be sure to install them.

All the games by this dev appear to be things I'm talking about.
I've compiled a small list of various "Pass and Play" games that can all be played on one device. I have no idea how well any of these support phones or tablets. Your mileage may vary.
