Both of them have really bad specs and you'd be lucky to emulate anything better than the NES with it. That said, go with whichever one has better homebrew support. They both have the same processor and amount of RAM.
What are you talking about? The PSP is one of the best devices for emulation out there. http://pspslimhacks.com/psp-emulators/

The PSP Slim and older have a 222Mhz MIPS processor with 64MB RAM. I may have been underestimating it by saying he'd be lucky to get anything better than a NES emulator running smoothly, but I wasn't very far off.
Which would be more suitable for emulation, the PSP GO, or the PSP 2000, it's been a while since I had a PSP which I could use to emulate shit.
PSPGo. It's much more portable and still easy to hack (actually, all PSPs can be easily hacked because of the keys being released), and you don't have to deal with having too little space with the Memory sticks. Internal storage is sweet.
Been looking around for an Advance Wars clone for Android and I found this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.larvalabs.tactics Looks pretty neat. According to review sites it's an almost exact copy of AW, just with different art and theme.
So I installed N64oid on my Asus Transformer Pad TF300TG and tried out some games, but they just completely lag out. F-Zero's start music plays, but then it just becomes rather unresponsive and laggy. And on Mario Kart 64, the nintendo logo's "Spin" plays nicely, but once it comes to the title screen it flashes extremely, though the menu is responsive itself, it does not display. These games work perfectly on my Galaxy Nexus, so I'm rather confused why this is happening. On the bright side, I found out that my Xbox controller seems to work with my tablet. [editline]nop[/editline] Nevermind, it seems all it needed was a restart, I figured something was wrong when "Launcher" was freezing every 5 seconds. Atleast I know the controller works with it now, which is neat.
sorry to bump, but this is the best 3 bucks i've spent on the play store it's a one button game but man is it fun. feels like i'm playing the original game.
Could any of ya'll with a gametel help me get it running with GameBoid / GBCoid / etc? I seem to be able to set it up and map all the keys fine and use it as a keyboard in all the other apps but it just doesn't input in-game for some reason. [editline]f[/editline] Nevermind setting it as a non-android bluetooth keyboard fixed it
Yo guys, this game owns. Plague Inc. You get to create your own virus, and chose your own traits and evolve new ones. This is actually the first game on Android that I bought with my own money.

Added it to OP, been waiting for that to show up on Android for a bit.
Also, this might be good to add to the OP. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/852638998/impulse-game-controller-and-key-finder-pocket-acce

It only has a d-pad, analog stick, and a start button, which really isn't enough for many games other than super simple ones or NES era titles. On top of that, it's detached from my device, so where am I going to put my phone? Sure while I'm sitting down I can maybe prop it up against something, but what about on the go? If I'm just using it at home or in situations where I'm going to be there for a while, I might as well use a full sized controller. The controllers suggested for phones in the OP all attach to the phone for a reason; it's simply too inconvenient to have them separated while trying to play games. And they still fit in your pocket anyways, so giving up so many buttons for the small size really isn't worth it IMO. If you're lugging around a tablet, you probably have space to lug around a controller too. The Kickstarter page also makes it look like it's relying heavily on gimmicks to sell the product. Some of it's big features is being a keyfinder (these exist everywhere already), being able to take photos with it remotely (any controller can do this with the appropriate camera app), and being usable as a media player remote (any controller can do this with the appropriate media player app as well). That's nice, but why do I care? I want a controller for video games, not a TV remote. Their updates on the page are alternate skins for the controller, a t-shirt, and illuminated buttons. I honestly don't think this is such a great product. tl;dr $40 is a ridiculous price for a gimmick controller worth $5.
$40? I thought it was more like $20. [editline]6th October 2012[/editline]
There's a fucking pisstake on Valve time and HL3 in that game :v:

$40? I thought it was more like $20.
It's currently $25 as a special promotion with the Kickstarter page, but as it states, it might actually be more than $40 in the future:
The iMpulse Controller won't be available in stores for less than $40, due to the economics of the sales and distribution system. Here's your last chance to get a controller at the same low price we offered to our pre-order customers. We're also going to include a USB->Micro charging cable. Super Bonus madness. (International pledgers please add: Canada $10, Elsewhere $15 to cover shipping costs)
And really, I wouldn't even pay $25 for that. The max I'd go for it is maybe $10. [editline].[/editline] Oh, did I mention their reward for backing between $2 to $14.99 is the same reward for backing a penny? Good news, chaps! Mupen64Plus AE is back on Google Play. and it has hardware rendering! And best of all, it is free, and has a better control scheme! I'm adding it to the OP as we speak. Unfortunately, many games suffer the same problems as they do with N64oid, but this app seems to be better supported, and you can change the plugins you use, so any developer out there can port a plugin from Mupen64Plus to Android. To move your saves from N64oid to Mupen64Plus AE, go to the SD Card and locate .n64oid/saves. Copy all files, and paste them in Android/data/trev.android.mupen64plusae/data/save. For those of you using the Sixaxis app, it works the same way that N64oid did, but you must map the analog stick. Because the analog stick and dpad on a PS3 controller send the same signal, consider mapping the dpad to actual hardware controls like the volume button, or to something else that won't interfere with the analog stick. For example, I have mapped the dpad to my two volume buttons, along with the select and right analog-stick click buttons. The right analog stick click and volume buttons have a separate code, and the N64 did not have a select button, thus enabling me to use the dpad if I need to. Keep in mind, the dpad is so uncommonly used, that neither N64 app has it by default on the on-screen controls. Take a look at this thread made by the developer for performance tips.
However, N64oid does still work better with some games - notably Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. So if you've already purchased it, go ahead and stick to N64oid.
So I tried playing Paper Mario :v: On N64oid it works almost flawlessly. [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/22565769/paper_mario_n64oid.png[/t] On Mupen64Plus AE with the GNES plugin it flashses like crazy. [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/22565769/paper_mario_gnes.gif[/t] And then there's the Rice plugin :v: [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/22565769/paper_mario_rice.png[/t] I'll see about moving N64oid's rendering plugin over to Mupen64Plus AE. It is actually open source, the only thing you're technically paying for when you buy N64oid is the app that loads the plugins to play the game.
Why is Wiimote connectivity so fickle? I run towards a cliff, ready to jump to the other side, when "Wiimote 1 disconnected".
Why is Wiimote connectivity so fickle? I run towards a cliff, ready to jump to the other side, when "Wiimote 1 disconnected".
Have you tried more than one WiiMote?
Have you tried more than one WiiMote?
I've tried a launchday Wiimote and a WM+ Wiimote, both work poorly.
Which app are you using to connect?
The built-in one in SNES9X EX
The built-in one in SNES9X EX
Try one of the other ones in the O.P. If it still suffers the same problem, then it's likely either your device or the WiiMote.
