A guy on youtube asked me where I got a gmod addon I used in one of my videos. I supplied him with it only to get the message "How do I launch it?"
We went to tigerdirect to get a new netbook and the manager brought out the only HP Mini he had left. He had to set-up windows so he started to use the trackpad. He left so many smudges it's like his fingers were made of grease. It really pissed me off. We still bought it.
should repost this without thumbs
newspaper clipping on how to be smart with computers:
Why do you guys have to make me feel bad for using hotmail?
it's ok, I use hotmail too. I started using it before gmail was around though. way back when it was still called HoTMaiL
I still have my hotmail account, I just use gmail for most things now.
I have hotmail and comcast. Both linked to outlook.
I have gmail and a personal mail. V:v:V
I've got gmail and aim (I used it a while ago for chatting with dumbass friends) but I use the seperate aim account for websites that will spam me and facebook (because they email notifications)

Not really computer illiteracy but networking illiteracy. But back in April I had my senior project for Computer Networking, all the people who at least had a semblance of what to do grouped up to get us a higher chance of getting a internship when we presented it at the presentation. So we start setting up everything, we have 6 cisco routers hooked up into a WAN, we hookup a normal home router to the network and we follow the kid who setup the diagram's thing exactly. After going through it all we do a trace route to test it, no go from under the home router. Turns out the dumbass used 192.168.1.0 in the WAN, then used 192.168.1.0 under NAT. He still didn't get why it wasn't working when explained.
Generally my school's IT teachers are extremely literate but because they don't have enough they have to get this CDT teacher who doesn't know shit to teach one class every year. In Year 7 we had to do some Logo work using MSWLogo and one lesson he had to give us some different work to do. The reason? We needed to use Microsoft Windows Logo but the school had MSWLogo instead which wasn't the right program. Microsoft Windows Logo doesn't actually exist and isn't what MSWLogo stands for, but he wouldn't have any of that. By the time the next lesson rolled around he'd learned from his mistake and began teaching us. By teaching I meant making us watch webcasts.
It's so easy to setup a personal email with google apps these days that there shouldn't be any excuse for not doing so, unless you're so skint that you can't afford a domain name.
Don't you have to pay to hook Google Apps to your domain? Don't forget that Average Joe just wants to set up an email account as quickly and as easily possible and isn't necessarily interested in going to trouble of setting up a domain.
Nope it's free
And easy as hell, there are very comprehensive guides on the google apps site, even a step by step guide for each of the most popular domain registars (in regards to setting up the mx records etc).
I've used hotmail since 2005, I don't see any point in changing addresses?
*Lol open hammer* I ask "What are ya doing?" "OH NOTHING JUST MAPPING!" "Oh cool, what is it based off of?" "Dunno lol whatever I find on FPSB" "For inspiration?" "LOL NO I NOT MAKING MAP I DOWNLOADING MAP" Believe it or not, that is one of the main causes for people suddenly being removed from my friends list on Steam. Offhand note, can someone tell me how to convert an .avi to a .gif? I've check google and everyone automatically assumes I have photoshit. Or an animated PNG? That would help too.
It's so easy to setup a personal email with google apps these days that there shouldn't be any excuse for not doing so, unless you're so skint that you can't afford a domain name.
why, when its so easy to setup a personal email on hotmail, or gmail for that matter. i guess having your own domain is nice, if you care. dont see the point otherwise, what advantages are there to having your own personal address?

oh by the way to get around lightspeed filtering is use https://gmail.com or use mobile sites (m.gizmodo.com)
I've used hotmail since 2005, I don't see any point in changing addresses?
Pretty much this, I got an @msn.com email account and it doesn't get any spam, which is nice. I do use my domain email (ben@bj0.org) to give out since it's short. I do have a GMail account, though since everything has been used with my MSN email, It would be annoying as hell to switch everything over.
Does APNG makes Opera still crash?
Nop. They released Opera 10.61 and fixed everything!
Is it running fine on Linux too?
Yeah. I'm using it right now. Everything is fine. They fixed all the issues with plugins and shit. I am finally happy with opera.
If APNG crashes are gone perma'd users that weren't being asshats about it should be unbanned, I think [editline]09:30PM[/editline] Only thing I don't like about Opera is its addon library, it's got exactly 17 skins right now and like 15 widgets, pathetic compared to Firefox but I still like it the most.
