That Old Spice gaming computer is awesome. It's funny how he tries to give you the OS disc without the license. Also, I've been wondering, is it spelled 'Disc', 'Disk', or either?
I believe that "Disc" is just a variation of "Disk" and vice-versa. They are probably alternate spellings of each other.
lol skull candy logo
my mom almost bought skullcandy headphones. that would've been horrible. on another note... Today I made a new friend after this; I was playing TF2 on my old macbook, piece of shit web browser that runs tf2 pretty well actually. Guy: "Game on a real PC dumbass." Me: "I have a desktop at home." Guy: "What is it? A Dell XPS or Alienware?" Me: "No. I built it using parts ordered off of newegg." Guy: He starts to ease up. "What are the specs?" Me: "Well it's almost a year old, going to upgrade it in a bit but I have <insert specs here>." Guy: "Holy shit, you're computer literate! It's nice to be able to talk about computers and stuff with someone..." Me: "I know, everyone here buys macbook pro's to browse facebook, or make photos black and white." Guy: "Hurr durr black and white makes me artistic." Me: "Hahaha exactly man." I found out he's on overclockers.net and also on /g/ which is pretty cool. rate heart or gaybow
its fun when you meet people who know wtf they are talking about. in real life. on the internet its just like "ok", and since he started the conversation by calling you a dumbass i think any awesomeness would be canceled out.
yeah. I went to bestbuy once and actually had a nice conversation with a worker there about gaming and shit
my mom almost bought skullcandy headphones. that would've been horrible.
I've got skullcandy skullcrushers, with the "Subwoofers" built in. Load of battery draining garbage. I needed headphones on a trip somewhere and it was the only thing at the store that wasn't a pair of $10 earbuds. :argh:
Me: "I know, everyone here buys macbook pro's to browse facebook, or make photos black and white." Not really on-topic, but can you only check multicore rendering in Source games if you have more than one CPU. Or what? I recently got a new pc, and I never had one with multiple cores before. Sorry for derailing the thread/ asking a stupid question.

Also, r_threaded stuff will work along with cl_threaded bones setup i think. Those will take a good load off the CPU.
hey buttsex, be more active on labs
why, labs suck so far. it's mostly unmoderated bullshit.
Here's one from when I was in seventh grade (late 2008) Well, at the time, I was locally known as the nerd who people didn't really seem to care about. There was this one jackass kid who had a few idiotic friends like him and thought he was all badass and stuff. He had decent conversations with me at some points but most of the time he was a complete dick. In computer class, I was forced to sit next to this little shit, and months after I knew him, he suddenly points at this Flash game website nobody previously knew about (since Flash games are outrageously popular in the school) and says "Hey guys, I made this site." I knew he was either just trying to make me think he was better than me or to show off to his friends who were sitting on the other side of him, so I just played along. I started by saying "Cool, are you using a webhost or hosting it yourself?" He replies that he's hosting it himself. I then asked "What did you use to make it?" He replies with "a $100 website creator," or something along those lines. I decided to ask him a question that someone like him would not know, and quickly came up with something. "What is the website coded in?" He replies once again that he used that website creator. "No, not that, what language did you use?" "English." "You didn't make the website." "Yes, I did!" "Then edit that box on the side," I said, pointing to a part of the template. "I can't, this isn't my computer." "Don't you have FTP?" "Yeah?" "Just use Net2ftp." He says "You probably don't even know what you're talking about," but proceeds to Net2ftp anyway. He looks at the page and asks "What do I type in these boxes?" I rolled my eyes and looked back at my computer. I opened the command prompt, pinged the website, copied the IP and closed it. Since he had previously somehow known how to use the ping command to get the IPs of websites to paste in the address bar get around the filter before, he didn't ask what I was doing in the command prompt, until I went to a whois lookup site and pasted the IP. He suddenly says "Don't hack my website!" but then the site displays a pile of information about the website. I find the location and point it out to him. The server was all the way in France. I then pointed out the registration date, which was very early that year. (If he had made the website he probably would've been bragging about it the minute he got to school.) He didn't say a word to me for the rest of the day.
You know, that question is still open...
Comcast computers do not have enough gigarams to run cod4 or even cod2 but cod3 should work with a slight gigarams upgrade
you need more beegees to run cod bro
You know, that question is still open...
I answered out of courtesy. Rate polite.
I rated you a box for ruining it. [editline]12:10AM[/editline] Also, how's my new avatar?

So my friend is addicted to MW2 (On the 360) and he saw some hacks on youtube (these were catalyst hacks, a PC hack). He stuck it onto a flash drive and plugged it into his xbox. He told me that he had gotten some hacks for MW2, but they didnt work. I asked whether he had a modded xbox or not and he replied no. He sent me a link to the hacks that he downloaded and i noticed that they were PC hacks. I told him this and he just said: "But PC's are made by Microsoft, like my xbox. So shouldn't it work on my xbox too?". :eng99:
its not the gigarams its the gigahardrives that are the problem.
