On the topic of computer illiterate people who think they know things, how the fuck does Norton screw up a computer so badly?! My the friend I spoke of earlier (Who bought a prebuilt without a graphics card and then went to Staples for a PSU and graphics card) requested that I come over, Live messenger and some of his games didn't work online. I was stumped until I noticed "Norton Internet Security" on the desktop. I noticed that it wasn't actually running and gave me an error when I clicked the icon. Uninstalling through Programs and Features failed... I downloaded the Norton removal tool, rebooted and everything works now! Honestly, if the included software is preventing Windows Live Messenger, the most popular IM program(If not, the second most popular) from functioning... God help the consumers :|
