Who ever decided to name it a "MAC address" is a real asshole Today school started and a teacher wanted me to help her fix her laptop get on wifi I told her (Because i know the tech guy) that there is a mac block in place. "No i have a pc"
Media Access Control. I think it came about in the late '70s - early '80s, so before Macintosh computers.
Razer makes me RRRAAAAGGEEE
Media Access Control. It actually has made things harder for tech work, so there's something to hate Apple for.
They named it Macintosh. Other people shortened it to "Mac", and so Apple adopted that.
I shortened it to "overpriced"
I shortened it to "overpriced"
DO NOT START THIS SHIT! Seriously, I'm tired of every other page being a fucking PC vs Mac flamewar.

Is it just me, Or do other people get pissed when people say "The Computer" as if they owned the only one in existence.
It might just be me, but I'd rather have a Mac vs. PC argument than these idiotic discussions about processors being overclocked versions of other processors.

i have a razer mirror keyboard and a lachesis mouse, both and great have both never given me a problem, and are much better than anything ive had in the past. razer is not some kind of shitmonster like alienware is thesedays, i hate bandwagoners.

Oh well, I believe, you get what you pay for with razer.
FarmVille is pretty good. Harvest Moon is a cheap knock off of FarmVille though.
Is this Kid stupid? harvest moon existed long before that shitty game. more like the other way around.

This is off-topic but I thought I'd post my question here since it's not really thread-worthy and most of the regulars in this thread seem to be smart. Anyways, this probably doesn't exist and I'll probably look extremely stupid for asking this, but is there some sort of USB to 3.5 mm audio jack adapter? I recently bought a new USB headset for my laptop, the sound quality is great, but its spoiled me so much that my earbuds that I usually use for my iPod now sound like shit, I was hoping that something like this would be somewhere out there so I could plug my headset into the adapter, and plug that into my iPod. Again, I highly doubt something like that exists, but any help would be appreciated.
Get a USB hub. It may work, you never know. Or get some sennheiser CX 300's. I loved my pair before they were stolen. Atleast the thief knows quality. I played the same song through my pair and some skullcandies and the Skull Candy ones are shit. [editline]08:14PM[/editline] Scratch that, it wont work. Just get some new headphones for your Ipod
[img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/graph1234.png[/img_thumb]
Sadly true.

His cost $40, mine cost $20 and his wasn't clear at all.
The other day I overheard my mum trying to tell her aunt how Google worked. Myself and my grandad (also knowledgeable in computing) had to just sit there and grimace at each other.
Skull candy fucking blows. The Koss porta pro is the best pair of headphones I had so far, it has survived 6 months of use. One of the speakers is broken now. :frown: Lucky thing they are cheap.

Overpriced too.
My plantronics headset came with a connector for 3.5mm to usb, I do not know if they do that the other way around though.
My grandma couldn't put any CDs into her computer for awhile. She thought the ntl broadband install/activation disc had to remain in the CD drive at all times or else she wouldn't be able to access the internet.
Grandmas don't count, they were probably old when XP came out
Grandparents are too sweet to blame with these things <3
