Anyways, it was my first day at computer class. Guess what they had? Macs. The whole school had macs. Oh GOD. I'll have a pic tommorow. Even the library had macs. The new ones. Bolted into the table because earthquakes are common here and the school doesn't want to be blamed more because they made our whole school district poor due to spending a million on these Macs. [editline]04:04PM[/editline] Deal with it or shut up.
you're the most consistently terrible poster in this section the only place in PCH&S you belong is in this thread
Pepper;24528007']You mean this?
milf of all things
Last year in Tech class, whenever a computer would break a friend would walk up to it and do something stupid, but he acted so serious the teacher thought he was a computer god. "It's frozen? Hmm, yeah, we need some jiggaboo oil to pour on the Power Socket Index."

"It's frozen? Hmm, yeah, we need some jiggaboo oil to pour on the Power Socket Index."
We say things like this for fun. Like my comment today was to spin the cd before it goes into the drive so it'll read the dvd faster. It was playing slowly on windows. :v: The IT guy has a troubleshooting cd in this case So he tells us to put more cowbell into the computers and run some tests.
they made our whole school district poor due to spending a million on these Macs.
Life illiterate people who think they know things V1 = I talk about stuff I don't know. Actually, I'm just kidding. But seriously, schools have budgets. The way the budgets work is there are different categories for budgets. You have a budget for technology, for food, for landscaping and buildings and so on. You can not use the money from one budget to pay for something not associated with that budget. So not only do they get a good deal on those Macs because they buy a ton of them, if they didn't buy them they wouldn't have spent the money on much of anything else. They need computers, they consider macs easy to troubleshoot and they also consider them user friendly. It is a win win win for the school.
God damnit. I'm smarter than all of you! I know that AGP has more teraflops then PCI!
God damnit. I'm smarter than all of you! I know that AGP has more teraflops then PCI!
You've also trying waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy too hard.
Kind of like you tbh.
:frog: Wait, no, you belong here, as content.
Actually I talk to LinuX on a daily basis. He is very knowledgeable about computers and helped me set up my 64 bit OS so I could use Flash better (my old 32 bit system couldn't handle it and I only had DDR2 RAM anyway so I was running out of room to save all the applications).

naw LinuX actually does know a fair amount he just likes to troll people like Odellus edit: he's no Torvalds, obviously, but he knows enough to get by.
Kind of like you tbh.
what the fuck is this, 5th grade? I don't know how you could compare Odellus to LinuX Odellus points out mistakes people make in a asinine way, but it teaches you your lesson, and he knows a ton about computers, which is fine.
naw LinuX actually does know a fair amount he just likes to troll people like Odellus edit: he's no Torvalds, obviously, but he knows enough to get by.
and now I am being trolled by buttsex [editline]10:29PM[/editline]
what the fuck is this, 5th grade? [editline]10:29PM[/editline] what is this
just happened to me im trying to install arch onto a usb stick, i plug it in and then i go to partition it and it's not showing up doesn't show up in fdisk so I unplug it and try it on a different computer, works fine i put it back in and its still not working, i look more closely and it turns out I was plugging it into the ethernet port the entire time :v: (not really ontopic, but more so than the rest of the thread)
at least you know what you did wrong. At school for a couple days I was mixing up which macs are powerpc and which are intel. :v: Some of the older iMacs I mistook as being powerpc based, and didn't even consider that they were booted into windows.
