I know this is totally opposite, but its still a valid point :p. Computer literate people can get on my nerves as much as computer illiterate people do. Browsing the web dev subforum just makes me want to rage half the time. Some new guy will ask something politely and curiously usually, and all they get are "its ____ you fucking dumbass. learn yo shitzzz." Just because a person is "literate", does not make them better. Only in the case when the illiterate user is a total cock about so.... or hilariously unaware lol. also; related story. sitting around with my cousin and family one time. They had just upgraded to a new computer and had a nifty new lcd monitor. So my cousin gets a magnet and tries playing with it on the screen. I explain to him it doesn't work the same as a crt monitor, and the bending of the electrons doesn't happen. Later, I find out he went to try and show his mom. She flipped the fuck out and accused me of trying to destroy the new setup by teaching her "baby" false information lol. I never told my cousin it was a good idea to do it regardless, lcd or crt monitor. But oh well.

He clearly doesn't know much... The thing that it ran slower could be, that he bought a 1055t at 2.8Ghz (stock) and then bought a PII x4 955 (Stock is 3.2GHz), and it ran faster. I don't know any games that takes advantage of sic cores, so it's probably the higher clockspeed... But there's no problems with 2- and 6-cores, whatsoever.

I hate how my friend keeps telling me that his computer is better than mine, when one of his specs is 8 gigabytes of nvidia sli ready ram... ugghhhhhhh
