OP has an issue with Halo 2 and running it on XP. An argument ensues about DX and program compatibility when a random dude throws this in:
That entire thread is full of illiteracy
I was the one saying the game was bad. Personal opinion, so fuck off.

It seems unfortunately that almost nobody in the comments section seems to grasp it.
I don't know if you guys remember. In the previous thread I wrote a huge wall of text describing how the leader of my old clan banned me and taught that I was screwing/hacking/idk the forums. If you read the wall of text you would know that I found an exploit (not tested, but I'm sure it works.) The exploit had to do with the shoutbox. With that exploit someone could inject any kind of html/javascript into the page. He was informed of that exploit and is very aware of it.
The stupid thing is. The shoutbox is still there. The same old exploitable shoutbox is there. It's a plugin, he could have removed it or something, but noooo. Even tho a detailed explanation of the exploit was posted in the previous thread. In one of the images I also had the URL of the site.
What kind of mentality is this. Even microsoft stopped thinking like that. In the days they used to have the "No one will do any harm." mentality...
Someone with enough knowledge could inject some code in there and never have it being detected. Setting up some javascript that would steal cookies can be easy as fuck and then have access to the admin's accounts. Or just have some javascript that delivers some shellcode...
The exploit is very easy to do. All you have to do is modify the html so it ignores the Javascript and sends the raw unencoded data to the server. If it were something hard I'd understand but it's real fucking easy. It takes a little knowledge, but any script kiddie can learn it very easily...
Holy fuck that is funny.
Even if it is a comedy, I hate that guy.
My father, who is a computer engineer, doesn't understand why I switch my actual PSU for an +80 certified PSU (Seasonic). He thinks that a 20-30$ PSU will do everything fine.
He has an obsession to take all the cheaper components without knowning if they were good or not.

Do it.
Do it.
Thing is, you'd need to find an exploid that would allow you to execute everything needed, which are usally retarded things that nobody though of checking, such as websites using POST and radio buttons who forget to remove injections because "Durp the user can't type in things, thus can't inject"
Edit:
Rate me spelling bad.
It is possible. The "exploit" allows you to simply bypass the html character code encoding. You can bypass it because it's done with javascript.
Once you post something you can include full html, javascript and CSS. (If you bypass the encoding)

My friend bought a Mac. I questioned him why, as he already had a pretty good Laptop.
"Because it has those cool icons at the bottom."
That's right, Ladies and Gentlemen, he bought a Mac for the fucking Dock

People who fucking leave the stickers on the computer piss me off.
I know people who have bought a computer back in 2002, 2003, 2004, and the fucking sticks are still on them. It pisses me off. I asked one of them why and they literally said to me "It helps retain resale value."

if you do ever sell them, it's good to keep the stickers on, but most people never sell their systems.

Yeah but after 6 or 7 years?
Yeah but after 6 or 7 years?
you might get a few extra bucks. it's not like it hurts the system, anyway.
whats wrong with putting on a sticker that says what kind of processor you have on your pc case.

My computer still has them on there, it keeps the specs handy.
Holy shit, something really funny just happened, I was screwing around, going forward and back in Opera using the buttons on my mouse, and someone walks over and goes, "How are you doing that?! Are you hacking?"
Took me five minutes to explain that there are buttons on my mouse.
This is common on Garrys mod servers:
You go in a server and the admins are obviously kids (14 and under) and they think they know everything there is about computers and networking. When you recommend a way to optimize their server they ban you.

I know mine like the back of my hand.

I'm talking the sticks you get with your prebuilt that adults buy. You know?

i7 920 @ 2.66 GHz
3GB DDR3 RAM @ 1066 MHz
ATI Radeon 4850 512MB
750GB Hard drive
Off of the top of my head.
I can remember my specs, I just prefer having them on hand in case I forget.
Mine also has my Windows key on it.
I have a book of collected windows keys from 95 to present day
