Tagan aren't bad at all, I'm pretty sure it could handle the CPU but you might want to look into the power requirements of the graphics card.
I don't want to make a new thread just for this question, si i'll be asking it here: Would the "Tagan SuperRock TG350" (350W) be able to run a AMD Athlon II X2 240 and a Radeon HD 4650? And is Tagan something I can rely on, I've never even heard of it.
According to google the 4650 requires around 250W.
Well, it may be upgraded later on, so I'll go with this one. Also, it has to handle a 1080p capture card as well as the GPU, I can post the whole build here: Now, this is in NOK and not USD, just ignore the pricing and tell me if this would work.
Yeah, you'd be good with that. I was about to freak though when I saw 485 by that processor. Then I read at the bottom that that's not USD. :v:
So, the PSU will fit? I suppose so.
well you did say that any sane person would own nothing other than an iPod. I'm sorry, I don't know how to say this, but you have contracted mild apple fanboyism. [editline]11:03AM[/editline] you see right here. the diagnosis is clear. I'm sorry, codenamecueball.
No, not nothing other than an iPod, just no sane person would own a zune. Also, waiting for Andriod Media devices, that would be awesome. And how do I help myself
No, not nothing other than an iPod, just no sane person would own a zune. Also, waiting for Andriod Media devices, that would be awesome. And how do I help myself
I own a zune HD and I am quite happy with my purchase, and as far as I can tell, perfectly sane. I had just decided that I would no longer like to give any money to apple in any form ever again for what they have done, and at the time there were no good alternatives that fit my budget. there's nothing wrong with it that I can see.

I use both for porn :v:

Are you insane? I'm pretty sure you could get an OCZ ModXStream 500W for around 450 NOK or $20 more
This is not illiteracy but still ruddy funny: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ashen1/ashen/menu/build/intro.htm
Read it again, it's a 2x2GB kit.
My bad, I see one stick and the top line reads only: 4 Gig. I'm used to the picture of 2 off of newegg

My daddy thinks my computer consumes 650 watts (even ON IDLE) because there is an 650W PSU inside. He threatened me that I had to pay a portion of the electricity bill because of that. Don't know if I must laugh or cry. [editline]09:53PM[/editline] Ha, and he confessed to me he has a lot of knowledge about PSU, when I told him I changed my power supply for a good one.

But i explained to him how it works (or at least how i think it works)
God, sometimes, I ask myself if he really is a computer engineer. Edit: Damn, ninja [editline]09:56PM[/editline]
But i explained to him how it works (or at least how i think it works)
Same for me, but he don't want to know about a good PSU and why I choose this.
I just woke up to find Norton had made its way back onto my computer, downloaded a full installer, and put up an unkillable splash screen with a giant INSTALL button, and upon further inspection apparently killed the process for Vipre, my normal antivirus. I told my friend and he said Vipre is a virus and Norton was just trying to help. :sigh: [editline]03:05PM[/editline] ...upon further inspection Norton has made its way into my start menu programs. It installed itself and put up the splash screen as a formality. :argh:
Norton has made it's way on my PC also, I'm guessing it came with a program and I didn't untick to install it.
norton is a virus in itself. I avoid it like the plague.

I remember having Panda antivirus on our school laptops, and the fucker just wouldn't die. Had to remove the files on bootup in the end. There is nothing I hate more than a program trying to dictate what goes on in my PC, it just makes my blood boil.
I struggled like fuck to get rid of Norton on one of my earlier PCs, seriously, even though I deleted every file I could find that was related to it, it just wouldn't die! There was no uninstall option. Though, later I found an uninstaller on their website...
Whats wrong with norton? I got it free with comcast and it works great.
Whats wrong with norton? I got it free with comcast and it works great.
There are other free anti virus programs that work better, bother you less, aren't targeted by malware due to popularity, and aren't a pain to get rid of.
