I don't see it much anymore, but back in like 2002 a large number of MP3 players used hard drives
The iPod Classic I bought last year has a 120gb standard magnetic drive.
The iPod Classic I bought last year has a 120gb standard magnetic drive.
My dad's iPod has a 160GB hard drive :smug:
My aunt had big icons on her desktop (low resolution) and she didn't know where to change it. FYI she is really computer illiterate
I remember when I got my first PC, I always kept the resolution at lowest because I thought "It looked bigger and better" (I was 6). Got cured of that very quickly, luckily.

So I probably had my computer at 800x600 or something similar.
Copy-pasted from the description: It seems unfortunately that almost nobody in the comments section seems to grasp it.
The guy is throughout all his videos a douche, so it makes no difference whether it's a comedy or not.
i miss my old CRT :frown: never should have thrown it away and get this dell screen for £20 on ebay
Haha, awesome. What kind of potentially negative effects have you heard about/experienced?
Worth note from the reports on the children affected by the Lavender Town Tone:
京极 勝女; April 12 1996 (11). Obstructive sleep apnea, severe migraines, otorrhagia, tinnitus. 千葉 広幸: May 23 1996 (12). General irritability, insomnia, addiction to videogame, nosebleeds. Developed into violent streaks against others and eventually himself. [自殺] 桃井 久江: April 27 1996 (11). Cluster headaches, irritability. Eventually took mixed painkillers. [自殺] 吉長 為真: March 4 1996 (7). Fire. NOW.
Try using ccleaner to kill it.
My mom and dad uses F-secure. It discovered 34 threats/virus/everythingelsethatisshitforyourcomputer, but could not delete them. I said to them that they should just uninstall it and install MSE or Avast! or something instead, they say ok, but at the same time says; "We don't have to do it right now, since the virusses haven't done any harm yet". It's now been two weeks and it haven't been installed yet. That bankaccount is just waiting to drop to 0. Found a program from Norton on my computer... Got no idea whatsoever how it got there.
I think this thread's forcing me to gib DooM style every time i read something retarded.
I had a stock 3.2GHz.... The actual fastest one is a 3.8 P4HT.
God dammit, that's pretty quick for a P4. I actually just made $180 CAD off my old PC (3.4 GHz P4, 1.5 GB DDR400, 80 GB IDE, AGP Radeon X1950). The two guys that picked it up were a bit sketchy and said they needed it as a server for their "Simulation Software". I'm going to be pissed if they're terrorists.
And some people don't believe me when I say it's a fucking bitch to un-install.
Yeah. This time when I uninstalled it, it opened up internet explorer (not my default) and brought me straight to a page with all the norton products and prices. Yes, I uninstalled Norton Antivirus. It's obvious I was just about to buy Norton Antivirus immediately afterwards.
norton is a virus
You probably got it from a program you installed. They have a habit of trying to install toolbars and free trials. It's so annoying when you forget to uncheck those boxes and you end up with your homepage changed, your default search changed, and a new toolbar installed.

Finally! I'm back working on windows 7 again with an extra 10gb on my Windows Drive. Last night I added 10gb to my Windows partition from a generally un-used partition but of course this corrupted a windows file, to be expected. good thing I always have a spare linux distro installed so with the help of windows 7 on a flash drive (Quite useful... if the things a fast one Ughhh) I spent around 2 hours (1 waiting for it to load from the flash drive) attempting to repair windows. It was really just an error with the MBR but I got it working with help of command prompt. When in doubt in windows repair goto command prompt and try "Bootrec.exe /fixmbr" or "Bootrec.exe /fixboot" fixed the problem PERFECTLY... Except the fact I can't get into grub now. Oh well easy fix. [editline]05:22PM[/editline] Oh I also got HD Streaming on my Xbox 360 working :-D

http://www.facepunch.com/showpost.php?p=23399035&postcount=6 How can you seriously not know the difference between LGA 775 and LGA 1156.
I remember our computer would start randomly opening ads on our desktop, as usual my sister instantly pins it on me and whatever I've installed. Turns out msn has an option to install "sponsorship" software that she's just spammed Yes over. Of course once I reinstall msn and tell her it was doing it she doesn't give half a shit and goes back to her farmville on an outdated version of IE full of security holes.

I caught it attempting to sneak safari into the installs FIVE FUCKING TIMES, as well as ask to make it the default browser and change my homepage to the apple store or something related to their website. Maybe it was the itunes front page or something. *I had to get it to update my damn iphone 3g to OS 4.0 with the promise of many, many features, only to find that the 3g model really only gains the benefit of a "shiny new calculator icon", and a metric shit-ton of UI lag, missed calls and unreceived texts.
