160 degree viewing angle lol
What's wrong with a 160 degree viewing angle? Seems fine to me.

I wish the 3D thing would just die out. Its not that great. Oh that's not the monitor, that's the ad. :downs: So what's the big deal with that Acer? Samsung is a good brand too. I own a few of them as well. [editline]8:07[/editline] Not like either page on the site had anything bad to say about either monitor, and they don't really just give out a rating or anything I could see. It just looks like another decently priced Acer that happens to be one of their uglier models.
Tell me again why anyone would want to have a 3D-ready monitor? I wish the 3D thing would just die out. Its not that great.
3D what
You could put it towards one of these :downs:: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Gaming_Keyboards/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=330-6214
I have to admit, that keyboard looks pretty damn awesome. But not $100 awesome.
3D what
[img_thumb]http://i909.photobucket.com/albums/ac298/4rawrs4srs/3D-ready.png[/img_thumb] Rate box.
You said "Most" are there actually laptops with VGA Inputs?
Mine is an input...
Mine is an input...
That's bizarre. I have never seen it before. So does your laptop have two VGA ports or is it switchable?
I have an acer monitor. Got it about a year ago. it has horrible flicker, there is a yellow spot on the screen, it can't detect a bios menu through hdmi, and one day everything suddenly went very pale and washed-out. And they want me to spend my own money to ship it to their repair center, I have to get my own box too. And since they said not to ship it in the box it came in it's very hard to find a box for a 21 inch monitor around here
I'm pretty sure the no BIOS through HDMI part is more your motherboard/GPU's fault than the monitor. Do you have anything else HDMI you can plug in and see if it shows up?
I'm pretty sure the no BIOS through HDMI part is more your motherboard/GPU's fault than the monitor. Just use DVI, its digital either way.

Hey guys, enough with the monitor talk. It's time to re rail this thread!
Sometimes I wish my parents were computer illiterate for a source of entertainment and some variety in my day, but I don't think that will happen because my dad is a systems administrator and helps everyone out with computers, aside from swearing at the server all day. We tend to have long talks about how MAC isn't as great as everyone says and about how it's Linux in a way and such. :smith: No entertaining computer illiteracy stories from me.
Holy buttfuck.
I know right? You can get two with that price and have a little bit of cash left over to get a hooker.
1. Go to school 2. Open CMD 3. Watch reactions 4. Profit
Works almost every time.
Why would anyone even need four amazing graphics cards along with everything else that's included in that Alienware computer? I have a single, three year old one and my computer is only just starting to stutter on the newer games.
I know right? You can get two with that price and have a little bit of cash left over to get a hooker.
Which site can you order all those on? Last I checked, Newegg stopped carrying hookers.
That's bizarre. I have never seen it before. So does your laptop have two VGA ports or is it switchable?
I have two ports, one on both sides, one is Input and one is Output, the HDMI one is right by the input.
Which site can you order all those on? Last I checked, Newegg stopped carrying hookers.
I just order some from Shenanigansen's Prostitute company.
GUYS, this thread is NOT about computer monitors and randomness like that. Please talk about computer illiterates. Anyway, my friend is getting a brand new gaming computer, much better than mine, and has never got anything better than a laptop with like 64 megs of ram. Because of this, he has been watching videos online because he wants to get "tech smart". He acts like he suddenly knows everything about computers because he watched like 3 tutorial videos about random shit he probably doesn't understand. He then goes on to suggest things to me and correct me when I talk about computers because of some shit an "expert" says. He believes some random guy on youtube over me, even though I have been using computers for years. He once called terabytes "Tegrabits".
Tegrabits sounds like a new cereal or some kind of fish food.
Just in case I forgot I made a post a minute ago.
1. Go to school 2. Open CMD 3. Watch reactions 4. Profit
I mess around in CMD to screw with people. By pinging Google, I have fully convinced many people in my grade that I am a computer hacking genius. It's entertaining but I mentally facepalm at those people constantly.
Pyro's Flame: sweet mac has a multitasking Pyro's Flame: feature Hazard24: multitasking? Hazard24: wait so multitasking is a "feature" for a mac? Pyro's Flame: i press the apple key it exits but it puts it in the dock where i can click it later so its running for ever i never have to end if i wanna watch a youtube video i press apple key it zooms out i watchit then i click the window then it opens up kinda hard to explain Hazard24: usually I have hammer, hl2 ep2, firefox, steam, another game, random folder, music, and pictures up at the same time using windows all the time, I really dont count thast as a feature Pyro's Flame: no like i can play gmod but not quit i can like minus it like you minus a window Hazard24: I was always able to do that on windows? Hazard24: just alt tab out of it Hazard24: and into something else Pyro's Flame: oh i never knew that Yep
On the topic of monitors... I recently bought this: http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=380248875223 It's to replace a shitty old Dell CRT that starts to whine after a while, it's just a secondary monitor to shove an IRC window, widgets and Grooveshark. My main monitor is a Dell S199WFP, it's a 19" LCD with a resolution of 1440x900, which is JUST right. I can run most games on my Radeon HD 4770 with high settings at native resolution at a decent FPS... Except for GTA IV, which is slow on most settings.
HP makes far better computers.
To be honest, HP is one of my most favorite prebuild brand, because of their price/values. Their computers are pretty stylish for the price. [editline]11:15PM[/editline]
On the topic of monitors... For once, I am proud to be a Canadian because $37 for that monitor with free domestic shipping is totally worth it.
