A girl at my work got rid of her computer just because it got a virus. She even threw away screen, keyboard, mouse etc. etc. just... wow
So me and my dad went to a computer shop to buy a new router,he went up to the counter and said: Dad:'Hello do you have a new rooster I can buy?' Me:'Dad,it's a router...' Dad:'Yeah whatever you call it' The guy we were talking to.....was a network administrator :eng99: :eng99:
Like i said earlier. My parents claim that the ADSL/phone line adapter is a fucking router.
A girl at my work got rid of her computer just because it got a virus. She even threw away screen, keyboard, mouse etc. etc. just... wow
Should have taken it off her and decontaminated it,
Should have taken it off her and decontaminated it,
It was long ago she did that.
I was at the cottage with family. My brother brought his friend along. So the friend pulls out his phone and notices that there's no signal. He asks: "Do you need a signal to text?" :downs:
I work as a basic tech for my moms friend because I built her computer. Recently her monitor broke, and it was because the cat SOMEHOW cut the power cord in half. Long story short, she goes to staples and asks if any display models are for sale, and gets a pretty nice 24" monitor that supports up to 1920x1080. I go there and hook it up, and the next day I get a call from her complaining that whenever she watches movies in fullscreen, the image looks stretched. I tried to explain to her that everything looked perfectly normal and the only problem was that she just switched from a non-widescreen monitor to a widescreen monitor. She decided to just return it and had me look on newegg for the cheapest non-widescreen monitor, so now instead of paying $90 for a VERY nice 24" monitor, especially for the price, she's paying $130 for a 19" monitor.

[img_thumb]http://www.majhost.com/gallery/Metruman/Other/amd.png[/img_thumb] I was going to rage at Saifi Kahn and post proof, then I realized that I really don't care.
Regarding the topic title, we were allowed to do this with three old PCs at our old IT department at school. Was very much fun, and got one of the teachers running in with a fire extinguisher. :v:
Wait.. The teachers didn't understand that you were told to blow them up or what?
I bought an Alienware Aurora two years ago I was young and foolish
I bought an Alienware Aurora two years ago I was young and foolish
I always thought more of you Fishtastic.
This happened literally seconds ago. Our cable service crapped out for a few minutes. I showed my dad we had no internet, his first question was, "Can you still play solitaire?" I shit you not.
Well that's pretty much all you can do during an internet cut-out, play solitaire and pray
when that happens,I play facewound.
I bought an Alienware Aurora two years ago I was young and foolish
17? pathetic
Don't know if this has been posted already, but... gold mine Microsoft-sponsored competition from a few months back for the best computer illiteracy story. Full of rage material.
I always thought more of you Fishtastic.
I swear, I was being given one for my birthday. It's been fine, other than the ethernet card conking off after a month, the hard-drive failing occasionally
I swear, I was being one for my birthday. It's been fine, other than the ethernet card conking off after a month, the hard-drive failing occasionally
Being one?
Well that's pretty much all you can do during an internet cut-out, play solitaire and pray
He thought solitaire ran off the internet.
I told my mom that I wanted a new processor and video card for my birthday and she asked if I could download it online.
I told my mom that I wanted a new processor and video card for my birthday and she asked if I could download it online.
This is why I write the brand name and model number of things on my wishing list, and then the salesman at the local shop can tell them how shitty it is and sell them a P5N-E SLi instead. Because that motherboard is soo coooool. It's too cool for 90% of it's features, and sometimes it's even too cool to boot! :c00l:
