you know what pisses me off about ISPs? for the past 2 weeks my internet has been on the fritz (for some reason, maybe half of the websites i frequent dont load. facepunch works, yay). i guessed it was an issue with the ISP's DNS servers or something, im not too well versed in the inner cogs of the internet, so after much MUCH fiddling with firewalls, browsers, and my modem itself i gave their support a call. Horray! after bearing the automated call center and elevator music for nearly an hour, it was fixed! for about 10 minutes. then it got screwed up again and i didn't have time to call them again because i had to leave the state for my uncle's funeral ( :*[ ) the next day. now im back and going to give them a call in the morning if they take calls on weekends. ISPs. why do you torture me. how does an isp go about screwing up like this anyway? anyone here work in that field and know some about it?

But when i later checked other sites the numbers became very much lower. It was then I realized that it was the whole system TomsHardware were talking about. :downs:

So there's a friend on facebook (I know him IRL too) and he's complaining that all of his browsers are crashing on launch. I know I'm not the most advanced computer user in the world (I know nothing compared to some people here) and it kinda shows in this conversation, but I do know that he's silly. I'm Ben Elias. He now wants to buy a mac for himself.

It annoys me when people go on about how windows has "so many problems". I've been using windows for as long as I can remember and I've never encountered a problem so bad I couldn't fix it. Only time that happened was when my girlfriend's mother's harddrive burnt out, which was due to its old age, not a windows problem
