man it's been ages since I've seen a full on anti vista bandwagoner reminds me of better times

I'm not bandwagoning. Many people I know have used it, and immediately changed back to XP/Upgraded to 7 because it sucked ass. Also, its been proven to have security issues, and to take up more resources.

These are the most accurate benchmarks I can find. Also, how is evidence unreliable. They look fine to me.

In my experience plain black and white do the best because the laser isn't trying to pick up 3 colors at once interfering the standard red laser. It's stupid. On the IT Crowd a few episodes ago (i think) there was a bomb disposal unit, the guy controlling the bomb robot was saying his computer was playing up.
