"Mods are illegal"
"No, they're not. If they are illegal why would VALVe realease an SDK for every game, or Bethesda with the GECK?"
"Well it's just for private use, those website like Oblivion Nexus, or Fallout Nexus are illegal. So are those Garry's Mod addons and such. Oh and if your wondering I called the police on them, though they haven't done anything against them yet. I wonder why."
"[Sarasm]Yes, I really couldn't imagine why they haven't taken those websites down yet."
Yes, he says stupid things like this on a daily basis. He even says those "wikia.com" sites were illegal since the copied Wikipedia.
Does he work for the RIAA?
Your not gonna get storm of shit-post's just because you say "I'm a Mac". But if you begin to quote the rest of one commercial then yes, you will most likely start a flamewar.
as evidenced several times in this thread, it barely takes half the word Mac to start up a pathetic trollfest. so i just don't say that word. Been the center of one last thread too. know what i'm talking about.

It's funny because even when the topic is long dead, you're still threshing its corpse because your anus is too sore from all the E-BULLIES saying MEAN THINGS about the TYPE OF COMPUTER YOU USE.
well fuck, why didn't you say so? the mac version is notoriously bad.
You pretty much have to build minefield yourself for it to work on mac, and it's working fine for me so far, i leave my laptop on 24/7 and minefield open the whole time.
I haven't had any problems at all.

That would be pretty cool, though; getting any modern game on a mobile device.
Someday. :saddowns:
Shouldn't we start playing Half-Life on our phones right about now?
Maybe when the 2 ghz Androids come about...

The game will be slow as shit, due to emulation

Okay, a OpenGL equivalent of a game made during the 90's that was compiled specifically for the Android platform?
Hmm since HL2 now works with OpenGL.... (due to mac version)...
It could be possible.
I was really bored one day, back in like 2007. I had a shitty computer that couldn't play any game from after 2006, and had trouble on games from 2004. The PC was from ~2002. I had a paperclip, bent in the usual fashion to be able to force open a CD drive. On the front of the computer, there were 4 USB ports. 2 were plugged in, 2 weren't. Amid my boredom, I stuck the paperclip in what were obviously the unplugged ones. I then stuck it in one of the live ports, and the computer shut down. I was rather worried, as I couldn't get a replacement at the time, and it wouldn't turn on. After I unplugged it, it worked. For about a year after that, every time I'd plug a device into a USB port while the PC was on, it would turn off, and I'd need to unplug it before it would start again. It had perpetual USB problems after that, and that Motherboard never worked stably again.
This is probably the stupidest thing I've ever done to a computer.

No.
Maybe 10 years.

Holy shit. Strongly considering getting an iphone 4 now, because if I didn't I could get one of these instead of a laptop.
I don't get what you guys are fussing about with that post. He's not saying that he tried to run Steam on his iPod, he just says he was using it a a sort of flash drive to hold Gmod. Then he tried executing the files stored on the iPod on his computer, and it froze.
[editline]...[/editline]
I skimmed through his thread, and there's a few people who understand that. But I see a lot of people going "Herp, you can't run steam on your ipod, derp.".
Exactly, and so it's basically the people posting in the thread that are the illiterates by not reading the OP properly.
Dammit guys. I block Bomino's posts but people keep quoteing them. I can't escape the stupid.
