Ubuntu is a total piece of shit, stop lying. It's the worst experience I have ever had with a computer and now I am stuck with this shit until I get windows 7. Thank god I have a backup of all my .vmf files on the internet.
So you're saying that Ubuntu is crap because you failed to install it? Great, great. :v:
Give me a few minutes, I'm going to post screenshots from installing Ubuntu where I don't change anything and show you where you went wrong.
So you're saying that Ubuntu is crap because you failed to install it? Great, great. :v:
It wiped my fucking HDD.
Perhaps he might get it right next time.
It wiped my fucking HDD.
YOU wiped your "fucking" HDD you muppet.
I wiped my fucking HDD.
Atleast get it right. Ninja'd!
you wiped your "fucking" hdd you muppet.
nowhere during the entire installation process did i get any warnings about it formatting my hdd.
If you actualy knew anything about partitioning you would have realised what it would do.
If you actualy anything about partitioning you would have realised what it would do.
My mother paritioned her macs HDD when she would dual boot it with windows, it did not get formatted. so shut the hell up and stop lying. How the fuck do i even force an application to shut down, the installer locked up at "getting the time from a network time server.
No, Boot Camp RESIZED the partitions. Instead, you DELETED THEM. That is the big difference.
ITT: Some tech illiterate furry doesn't know how to install OSes when you have to partition stuff.

If you did do that without telling it to format, then you have most likely caught some vital WinXP data and that WILL be destroyed essentially as Windows can't read it from another partition. If you did let it format by letting it do it by itself? Your fault.
What the fuck do i do now. I hope I can still install xp and FUCK YOU UBUNTU YOU ARE THE MOST BROKEN PIECE OF SOFTWARE EVER, EVEN MAC OS WORKS BETTER THAN YOU DO.
Yes, you can install XP again. All your stuff is gone though. [editline]21st November 2010[/editline] Yes, you can install XP again. All your stuff is gone though.
So, if someone else does something, you know everything about it? I'm afraid I don't quite understand your logic. [editline]21st November 2010[/editline] So, if someone else does something, you know everything about it? I'm afraid I don't quite understand you logic.
EVEN MAC OS WORKS BETTER THAN YOU DO.
You know, you fit the bill perfectly for the stereotypical Mac user, Cant maintain/use a PC so has to use an operating system with "childlock" limitations in place.
u mad? You look pretty mad. [editline]21st november 2010[/editline] u mad? You look pretty mad.
yes i am mad. Are you blind?
Well, he can't see you through the Internet.
-snip- tripple post.
Fuck off Microsoft dissin Linux
They dissed me a lot.
Didn't really read any of the 5 pages of flamewar here, but keep in mind it wasn't really Microsoft saying this it was some VP of Microsoft Russia just spouting out crap. Did anyone notice how he said Linux isn't a Russian OS? And he thinks Windows is? As a matter of fact, Linux was created in Finland which is far closer to Russia geographically than the US is.

And you screwed it up. :v: No wonder you think Gimp's GUI is confusing. :v: And it's not ugly if you customize it how ever you want.
Didn't really read any of the 5 pages of flamewar here
Eh, the last page or 2-3 have been not so much a flamewar as it has been Fatfatfatty raging over his own stupidity really. I'll admit though that that Gimp's GUI is confusing and overwhelming at first. Besides that, it's not bad. There's definitely an improvement or 2 to make but it works quite well in its current state.
GIMP's GUI is confusing because it wasn't created for an end-user, it was created for the guy coding it. Same with a lot of open source programs, the design philosophy is completely different than paid products.

It is very similar to Photoshop CS2 in some ways, which a lot of people seem to agree is better. The objects are laid out in a different manner and tools do work differently, but it really isn't that hard to make sense of if you actually look at it for a short period of time. [editline]21st November 2010[/editline]
' Im going back to windows XP, that shit works better than your faggoty open source shit.
When losing an argument/ looking like an idiot. Insult things! Open source is what keeps the computing market going. if everything was close source we would be fucked.
' Im going back to windows XP, that shit works better than your faggoty open source shit.
Screws up on something basic, that's even accompanied with a nice guide, and calling it shit? Sounds more like a code ID10T to me.
' Im going back to windows XP, that shit works better than your faggoty open source shit.
Just try going a day without indirectly using Linux. Hint: Don't use Google or the rest of the Internet.
