I too get distracted by radios for 15 hours at a time, although due to it I have extreme fatigue and usually pass out right before my favourite song comes on.

Ah, good idea. Whenever I plan to transfer audio from an outside device I use my camera to individually capture each frame of the audio's visualisation on my phone's 1.1 inch display and then recreate the waves in Audacity by hand. This long and painstaking process of course usually takes me a minimum of 16 hours (I have to spend a while in the dark room and then a while scanning each photograph on my flatbed early 2000s scanner that's only compatible with my Windows 98 computer), so I look forward to seeing the results.
(This post isn't bagging on you for taking so long, I'm just trying to pass time and work on writing.)
