It can.
right now I just edit the theme.lua file
You could use something like feh or nitrogen to draw the background.

Depends on the model. If you have a 1st gen or 2nd Gen iPhone (The original or 3G iPhone), you're in luck..

iPhone 4, but when my step-dad upgrades to a 4 or whatever the next one is, I'll be allowed his to hack or do whatever.
Call me stupid, but I can't even install Mint successfully.
I've downloaded the image + burned to disk, and it gets to the Mint boot option - normal, recovery, etc.
When I select any of them I get an isolinux AF error and it won't boot.

I'm trying to put a Debian net install image on a USB stick from Ubuntu Start-up disk creator but I keep getting this error at around 10% in. Is there an alternative program I could use or a way to fix this error?

It says before this "Installing Bootloader"

Try it again at as low of a burn speed as possible, and if your program has the option, check for errors.

Good news! That worked!
Bad news: Debian couldn't detect my Wireless drivers or something so It couldn't connect to the internet to install anything but the command line. Right now I basically have a barebones debian command line and I can't install anything with apt-get. Also, the Debian was a netinstall ISO. How can I fix this? Could I reinstall Debian and somehow have the Wireless drivers on my usb or something?
Graaagh I keep distro hopping D:

Same here, I'm thinking of doing an ArchBang/Windows 7 dualboot next
what file do i edit to change my terminal colors in awesomeWM?
Crunchbang is the distro that stopped my distrohopping on my laptop. Now, should I ever get my hands on a really nice desktop...
what file do i edit to change my terminal colors in awesomeWM?
What terminal are you using? Most you go to edit, preferences, and then a couple sub menus that are obviously labeled and you'll be able to change whatever you'd like.

URXVT is much more customizable, Gaza.
So I really want to try out dual booting with Linux but I've always been stopped by my wireless card in my computer. I can't use wired connections from where my PC is.
Any good wireless cards that go into my mobo that Linux will work fine in?

Just buy any generic Netgear card that is (I'm assuming) PCIx16.

Once you've got those you can install everything else with apt-get.
That worked for me on Ubuntu and Mint, so I assume it would work for Debian?
So, finally after all of this I've decided the right distro for me is OpenSUSE. I think. I've looked at lots of videos on it and stuff and I'm downloading it now. Alongside Windows 7 in a Dual Boot.
[editline]5th July 2011[/editline]
With KDE by the way.
-snip-
figured it out
Does anyone know how to get a wireless driver into Linux (OpenSUSE) ? I have a Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100. Linux detects the actual wireless adapter but I can't get the wireless driver.
Try the link I posted, but with Intel drivers.
Woot, posting from my first laptop with Linux. I'm using PinguyOS and I'm enjoying it very much so far.
Just a question, how can I get this if statement working in Conky?
Yes, i'm still fucking around with conky.
${if_match "${exec audtool playback-playing}"==1}

Just installed linuxmint LXDE on my all-purpose spare pc for storage and server use, what's a good way to get remote desktop access from my main (W7) pc so I can put the linux box in a closet?
Oh I just figured out what was happening but I still need help. There is nowhere for me to choose to conncet to any networks but I think I have the drivers. I've tried to open KNetworkManager but it just refuses to open.
