well when i had just built my comp and didnt have money for a keyboard my friend lent me his old one and it was so dirty so i took it apart and cleaned all the keys a scrubbed it with an old toothbrush in the sink..andd waaallaa a new looking keyboard and you could even mod it with spraypaint or something
Take every key out and pour alcohol or vinegar or whatever up to the key holes wait a few hours scrub clean
I don't spill shit on it.
I don't spill shit on it.
except ethanol

I take all the circuitry out and clean it with soap and water
i don't do anything because i don't need to
Compressed air.
If someone has/is ate/eating chips (if not at the same time while im trying to take turns playing games) and touched my mouse it feels really odd, i usually put on a winter glove. If dusty i use compressed air.
Don't get it dirty in the first place? It's a little dusty but that's about it.
I don't eat over my PC, my family does.
By having my clothes taking the impact of spilling and not my keyboard/desk.
Haven't done it in 2 years, planning on taking all the keys off and cleaning it :v:

Once a week put it upside down, shake it a bit to clean it from hair and some dust. And like once every 3-4 months I take out every single key and clean it properly.
Works great!
I used that, then I filled it with crisps and now its smells of cheese and onion.
My acidic jizz
The sweat on my fingertips keeps my keyboard clean. :frog:
Pry off all the keys and put them in a Tupperware container. Fill it with hot water and dish detergent. Shake for 5 minutes. Use a handheld vacuum cleaner and put the pipe on the other end (blows rather than sucks) to dry the keys. Put them back on. For the tray I use the vacuum cleaner to suck up anything that's underneath.
Mine doesn't really get dirty in the first place. I have not cleaned my keyboard in at least three years and it still looks new. It's a bit funny, though, because all the keys I don't use have dust on them. Things like "Pause Break" are just covered in dust.
Vacuum, mostly. Accidentally sucked a key off once D:
