1 x PCI Express x16 slot
Yes, that means you can use that card in your PC.
Yes, that means you can use that card in your PC.
Ahh, that's good. Just I heard it took two slots but realised that the other slot didn't need to be PCI-E because of the size of it overlapping, if i'm right? [editline]09:09PM[/editline] Also, which 5750 do I go for? Gigabyte VTX XFX Sapphire (none in stock at the moment) Also, finally, I hope. Do any of them come with the Dirt 2 game?
XFX has very nice warranties, usually worth any extra dual slot cards just cover the slot below it with the heatsink, rarely a problem because you should have plenty of spare PCI slots
it is great i got one when my 4850, I play at 1920x1080 so it was a great improvement over the 512mb
it is great i got one when my 4850, I play at 1920x1080 so it was a great improvement over the 512mb
How much of a big improvement is this over a current geforce 8600gt 512mb? Also, the fact that my CPU might bottleneck it being amd athlon dual core 2.44ghz.
No it won't be bottlenecked by that CPU and it is probably a huge improvement over the 8600gt seeing as the 8600GT was not much better than a 7600GT that should give you an idea.

Why the difference in price? Is the XFX faster?

How much better is the 5770 then? Is ASUS good? Also, what does CuCore mean? Sorry for the endless amount of questions, one thing leads to another!
the 5770 is about 7% faster at stock the asus should have voltage tweak so you are getting a very nice card
the 5770 is about 7% faster at stock the asus should have voltage tweak so you are getting a very nice card
That's good to hear for once :D Usually i think they're good but in truth they're bad! what's this voltage tweak then? EDIT: Also, i know i'm not getting the quality of PSU but even adding to get a better means i'd get a corsair 400w, when the 5750 needed like 450w according to the XFX website. So i'm best sticking to this 750w i want and if it does wear and tare then i'll find enough to replace it for a better one. My current one was cheaper than the one i plan to get and it's done insanely good, even leaving PC on most nights. I plan to stop that though ;D
voltage tweak in short send more power to the cpu allowing for higher clocks higher clocks mean more data throughput and more fps [editline]07:02PM[/editline] i got 2 5750's on 550w
