so the other video card can load all the data into its memory so it can render it
My guess is we have enough bandwidth between cards via PCIe 2.0 16x to share memory, but the latency is probably much greater than the local GDDR5 solution we currently have.

the PSU requirement is pretty accurate considering 2x460s and it's a store reccomendation so they have to overblow the requirement to account for various bullshit like shitty PSUs
