When launching an instance, do you not just have a list of all the options?

I have all these as a user since 2015 that never used anything outside free tier.
If you aren't the master account, they might be imposing I AM restrictions on you from making certain instance types.
They're really not even that tiny compared to a lot of shit on the market nowadays.

At least it's most likely a unique identifier since it's IPv6. So it's not a collection of devices.
When garry first tried the "NO MEGATHREADS REEE" softban, it was 25 pages or 1000 posts which sipwicket cleared every 3 or 4 days at the time
Now it won't matter quite as much because garry is achieving his apparent goal of making sure less people are posting than ever by making the forums as difficult to use as possible

Been coming to H&S for almost 9 years. Don't see it changing any time soon unless we switch over to Discord when the forum inevitably gets closed down (since that's what it seems like is lowkey happening, only wicked slowly)
It has felt like things have been winding down since we left vB4, I think the ancient forum design was part of the charm of the place. It was pretty rare to see a mid 2000s forum going in 2018.
I've lurked this thread since the start but the amount of posts I've contributed can probably be counted on my hands. I'm not sure I'll leave until everyone else does
How many more features do you think Garry can remove before the forum implodes?
I only really keep an eye on SH and this thread nowadays, have been for quite a long time actually.
SH threads are never going to hit the post limit so I haven't seen the effects of it.
Just got back from a LAN event.
Holy fuck, I am regretting using the 900D as my case, it took 2 people to carry that thing anywhere.

A user on site I'm a mod on complained that he cannot login or access parts of the site with a free VPN, and that he has to use a VPN because his country (Iran) blocks the site.
The site uses one of those public github block lists to stop users from abusing free VPNs to get around bans and blocks and I just had to tell the user that he's shit out of luck and has to trial and error different VPN services to see which are blocked and which are not.
It's not so much that, it's just the vB was actually a functioning forum system
This forum is still missing so much basic functionality even months after release I'd struggle to even call it a beta test
It's like he thought he was on the dev server, but accidentally pushed to prod and pretended it was on purpose to save face
Am I the only one who actually doesn't mind Newpunch? The only things it's really missing that I used regularly are the Show Latest and Show Popular lists, and I'm getting by without them. PMs need to happen eventually but they're not the main point of any forum, and there seems to be a lot of moderator-level stuff missing, but I'm actually pretty much fine with the overall state of things.
Granted, even before the move, I wasn't really using FP as much as I used to. So maybe that's why I'm not really feeling anything.
I was very happy with Newpunch, with the expectation that some basic functionality was well on the way to implementation.
That hasn't happened.

or you can just turn off the surround sound and its just a fairly decent headset so far
