For me personally, because Google Music comes with YouTube Red so it would be ideal if Google wasn't intent on axing the platform.
Also Spotify isn't 100% on artists I listen to which are on GMusic
Google Music comes with YT Red and it has an excellent selection of artists for me.
Also I kinda curate what I'm listening to on each platform. I listen to completely different songs on Google Music, YT Music, and Spotify, and go to whichever one I want for the mood I'm in. It's great.
Yeah I'll do that the next time I reformat, test it out.
How large do you guys usually set your W10 partitions?
No less than 128GB even if I'm desparate for space. Usually around 256GB. Windows doesn't jive well with Program Files being anywhere but on C: by default, so you have to account for that.
I've thought about upgrading my old 120GB OS drive to a 250. Should I be able to just image the drive, write it to the new disk, and then expand the partition out the rest of the way? I feel like Windows might get upset with that.
As long as it's the only partition on that drive it should be fine. Just make sure to use Windows's built in partition manager.
the Book 2 one expired
but it’s still 500 of so it better be ready to get fucking gotten
Oh if it's going to be that big anyway, I'll just keep it as it is. I have a 500GB as my primary.
sorry for not doing anything about previousthreads
took a massive hiatus
i might update it at some point but idk what the thread limit is now
I'm datahoarder so it's stupidly big.
You're one of the more lucky ones then. It's super common that the chrome extension/app and dedicated music manager program fails to connect to Google with the error "Couldn't Connect. Can't establish a secure connection" and you're just stuck not being able to download or upload stuff through it.
I do use Spotify, but the problem is half of the stuff I bought or I'm interested in buying is not on either Spotify or GMusic, but is Bandcamp only. For example, Wolfgun, Gefradah, Philomela or Master Boot Record's W_A_R_E_Z album that was given to people as a bonus when they bought an album from bandcamp is not on Spotify. Also the bandcamp android app is pretty trash and I don't want to use 3 different apps depending on what kind of music I want to listen to
Oh my god. Russian Burger King posted this in their social media

I acutally managed to corrupt my prescription in their database by doing some fuckery. Had to call my doctor and have him create a new one just so I could get it filled.
You know what's hell?
Updating months outdated server VMs over a VPN, over hotel internet, that you're getting from your laptop which is routing wifi traffic to wired for the server.
rip
also i stumbled across a wingless relic
remember that 3770k review on anandtech?
I had to look that up. I dont actually think that's me since I didn't have my 2600k then :V
o
i feel dumb now
rip
also how come you're never on steam??
Steam got really, really distracting from work and other stuffs :<
o heck
well my dumb hiatus has put me in a place where i have no idea what or where everyone chills out apart from this thread
UGH
tbh newpunch killed a lot of thread activity in pretty much every section, not just here
Garry also retroactively set the thread limits to 1000 posts which effectively instantly closed every single large discussion thread at once
Many were just never remade
Oh shit I'm rip I guess.
Sometimes I just say stupid things too, it's a good time.
I honestly didn't know telegram was even a thing until now I was wondering why we didn't have discord.
ewww cef
my piracy and memes etc etc
This is why I barely use the Telegram unless called out. 90% of my group communication is on Discord, but only cipwikket is on telegram.
I dug out my old laptop that I got for free and ever used for only experimenting with hackintosh and using as a file server when I went to a trip with friends two times and installed fedora on it.

Somehow this stupid thing is still working absolutely fine for Internet stuff like Discord and Spotify, watching 480p/720p YT videos and even light gaming if you choose to play some early 3D titles and 2D platformers.
Now if I installed Windows 10 onto it I bet it would run like absolute ass
