They sure don't look bad feature-wise but i can't believe the hardcore gamer aesthetic is still alive and kicking
the foldout 🅱enis is even ribbed for her pleasure
I'll give up my MDR-7506 when I die and no sooner
I'm happy with the Sennheiser HD579s I just got VV
Man, the notification stuff is even worse now.

Don't think I'd ever purchase a "gaming" orientated headset ever again. Much more bang for your back if you opt for a proper pair of headphones with none of that gamer shit tacked on.
How long does a modern SSD typically last nowadays? I got a Samsung EVO 250 @ 250GB and its got 14 128 hours power on time and 46.4TB written so far. Is there a point where I should be more concerned about these numbers or is it completely random if they fail or not?
I've had my ATH-M50 for about 9 years at this point and they're still in great shape, all I've done was replace the fake leather pads with the soft velour so my ears don't get so warm. At this point I'm willing to pay around $300 CAD for an awesome new pair of headphones but the M50s still seem to do the job.
Chances are you'll upgrade twice before they die.
I'm more than happy with my Sennheiser HDsomethings(let me check) I liked them so much that I got myself a second pair once the cable began to wear out after a few years.
The good news is that you'll die before the SSD.
The bad news is that everyone in the future is going to know what kind of porn you watched, because the SSD will still be operational when they start digging through your shit.
I don't get why anyone would take AMD up on the offer.
For actual use, a 1950X beats a binned 8700K pretty easily.
SSD's don't tend to fail explosively. Cheap ones eventually just stop being accessed. But Intel and Samsung drives should last a long time and lock to read only if it's an endurance thing.
Cuz you get a cpu worth $375 more. Pretty nice marketing.
At the cost of buying a new motherboard. IDK if worth.
Being this savage should be illegal, damn.
Well I now have purchased a Vega 64. It's a powercolor, which is something I never thought I'd say I own, but the red devil models have historically actually been good cards.
I almost bought those actually.
But I decided to get something a little cheaper because I've never tried open cans before and wasn't sure if my A/C would be an issue (it isn't really)
There's no guarantee that someone winning the Intel sweepstake thing will have a motherboard that can run the CPU, keep in mind that you need Intel's latest special snowflake chipset on the motherboard to run the damn thing.

I have never used mechanical keyboards before except for this one time in internet cafe where they had this "Redragon", looking exactly like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/Redragon-KUMARA-Backlit-Mechanical-Keyboard/dp/B016MAK38U
Anyway, I really enjoyed the feel of typing on it and I thought I should get one for myself as well. I checked around and all mechanical keyboards seem to be more expensive that this one. Is it because the other ones feel even better and are worth paying 2x-3x more or is this cheapo one good enough?
Feel is subjective. That one's using some off-brand switches instead of Cherry, which explains why it's cheap, but that doesn't mean it's bad.
My last two keyboards, I've just picked the cheapest one with Cherry MX Blue switches and bought that.
They seem to use Outemu switches. They're alright cheaper switches. Their newer ones have been pretty solid on the QC front from what I've heard, unlikely to have issues with them. A lot of people who dislike them tend to come from actual Cherry or Gateron switches and can't get over the subtle differences between various manufacturers.
Logitech's new product designs are pretty great though.

You're far more likely to experience issues with cheap key caps breaking but from a glance it looks like a standard layout so replacements should be cheap and plentiful.
I'm glad to see that merges being broken are still a thing on newpunch.
It's tough for me because I'm definitely experiencing some brand loyalty
Having used a G15 and a G9 (replaced by a Mionix Castor just this month) for going on 9 years, literally since my very first gaming rig way back in 2009, and my G930 since 2011 (plus the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick that seemingly everyone and their mother owns), it feels a little strange to be moving on to different peripherals
I suppose I'm also feeling a little nostalgic because my rig is quickly approaching the final boards in the ship of Theseus paradox, as of right now the only parts original to my very first build 9 years ago are my G15 keyboard and one of my 19" 1680x1050 monitors
