It also depends on the output current from the power bank/charger. If it's not enough to keep up with the phone's current consumption, it will completely discharge after some time.
Im planning to get an anker powercore 10000, heard its good, can power a switch running at 100% for 5 hours-ish
That's weird, the S8+ is not old enough to only support QC2.
Thats what it says on gsmarena
Samsung S8+ has a Snapdragon 835 which supports QC4.0. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quick_Charge
That's not really relevant, it might be an exynos model, and even if the soc supports it, the device might not, for example sdm660 supports QC4 but on the Mi A2 only the Indian variant supports it, the global variant only supports QC3
Talking of quick charge, can anyone recommend a good power bank which supports the Oneplus 6T? All the info I can find on 6T quick charge is " Fast Charging (5V 4A)"
OnePlus does not support Qualcomm quick charge or USB power delivery, only their proprietary fast charging thing, just get whatever that supports 2A output or more
Oh yeah chilean modela have the exynos Id have a bettwr chance with the S9 since that one is snapdragon but it might be too expensive for me to buy on march
They're announcing a new phone in february iirc, prices should go down a bit.
As of right now the S9+ is $549.000 in CLP, while the S8+ is $430.000 iirc Hope eithwr of them go down to like 350
I need help my note 9 asks for my pin, i enter the correct pin, the screen goes black then im right back at the lock screen with it asking for the pin. Same thing happens when i try and turn it off.
Might be some app that tries to replace your lockscreen.
Try booting it into safe mode. Hold power until the power menu appears, then press and hold on the power off button until it asks you to reboot into safe mode. Say yes and let it do its thing. Does it do still do it afterwards?
I got in by going onto the samsung account and unlocking it. Thanks for telling me how to get into safe mode.
Ok so I finally got a job and this Moto G4 has got to go. It's done nothing but overheat and restart randomly recently. I'm looking for phones that are the best bang for the buck. I like custom roms and rooting, so it needs to support that. Camera needs to be decent. I don't want to go too low budget again but I don't wanna pay almost $800 for a new phone either. I'd like some recommendations pls
OnePlus 6T
Poco F1, Mi 8 Nokia flagship
heard most nokias dont haave really good cameras though yeah either a Poco or a 1+ will be a good choice for you @Snickerdoodle sad you had to suffer the moto g4 like i did it'll be soon replaced by a galaxy s8+ probs
So uhhhh One of the biggest bosses in the company I work for offered to just outright buy me a phone, whatever I wanted. Would your suggestions change without the budget constraints?
I'm in the U.S. market so the custom-rom friendly Exynos version isn't available to me :c (from what I'm reading)
Poco F1 is almost useless for Americans, band support just isn't there. The Mi 8 has okay support depending on the carrier.
Any rumours as to when samsung s10 might be released? I've had a oneplus 3 for a couple of years now and even replaced the screen which cracked with a cheap Chinese one which also cracked in my pocket but still works, and the colours are washed out. I'm wondering if it's worth waiting for a next gen of phones that would have edge to edge display and potentially no notch or just upgrade for something that's out now.
Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a new battery for my LG V20, the one I have now is now constantly dying at around 35% charge. The problem is, I can't seem to find an OEM battery anywhere, not even on LG's site. Do you guys know where I could buy one? Alternatively, I could buy one of those extended battery ZeroLemon cases, but that'd be a last resort as it costs much more and I won't get the same kind of drop protection that I have with my current case.
the S10 will be shown off alongside the foldable tablet on February 20
So Monday, i received my CAT S41, and it's fucking spectacular. I only charged it TWICE all week. But I was looking through the battery usage and found that the camera, of which i've only taken 3 pictures with, has used 30% of the battery after each charge. ?????? I've "force stopped" it, and I've set it to not do anything in the background after finding out it's been doing that, but why would it do that? besides the custom theme, and a couple pre-installed apps this is all vanilla Android 8.0. How do I prevent this in the future?
Who are some of the best mobile providers in Canada? After my contract with Virgin is over this year I want to switch to someone else. I wanna get a Pixel 3 on a $65-$75 plan so if they offer that, even better
dang the J7 Pro sure is tempting being cheap and having really good battery life but i'd be worried of it suffering the same fate as my current phone, being buggy and laggy after a year and a half
i think the SOC is more or less the same as the G4 but since its 14nm its cooler and more power efficient
its uhh $150 in CLP but nah since its close to being out of stock ill most probably go with an A8+ or an S8+ if the price is right
