Any way how to have a single Win10 image in WDS for both Pro and Home editions of Windows 10?
We have a customized image with our own applications installed for easy deployment but when someone comes in with a win10 home laptop, the thing is hosed and we have to do it manually
Method guys have been streaming on Twitch for 6 days in a row now, 12+ hours every day, absolute lunatics. Started on Wednesday morning, currently still streaming on Tuesday night, and unless they get super lucky, they're going to be streaming tomorrow probably too.
God damn these guys look jacked too, not exactly what people expect out of WoW players.

Fucking hell. Shroud got TWO 2080Ti's
Using SLI when streaming omegalul
I went to check Lorgok's stream since he's the world's best Balance Druid, and I play Balance myself.

Dude looks like he eats an SUV for breakfast.
Also, his music tastes are exactly what I expected from a fellow Balance Druid. To quote the bot from his channel:
I have a playlist on youtube with more than 1000 songs and it's mostly hardstyle, trance and drum&bass.

fffuck yes. now, if only it wasn't goddamn SCSI, or I had gone for a motherboard with regular PCI slots...
There's no way I can get this talking to a computer with a hacky USB or Expresscard adapter, right?
Scanners are a defined SCSI peripheral device type, so... maybe? I expect you'll have to specifically look for one that can do more than just block-storage device, but I actually wouldn't be surprised if you get it to work.
I find way too much enjoyment out of streaming random bullshit on my roommates 100 inch projector while he's watching Netflix.
Just hit him with this in the middle of whatever anime he's watching

If somebody did that to me, they'd be a dead person TBH.
Nobody interrupts anime time and lives.
Please tag this as NSFW. This is too hot for me.
I need to spend $25 as part of promotion on another site, and the exact model of ram I have in my computer is on sale at Newegg
Should I just pull the trigger and get another 16gb kit for ~$115 after the promotion?
Performs the same FPS wise as a 10xx series.
No RTX capable games(a feature that costs $100-150 more to use).
Worst launch ever.
It's going to be hilarious if AMD pulls a Ryzen and their next GPU launch matches this or beats it for cheaper.
We're not gonna see raytracing at playable framerates on these cards. It's a gimmick they're hyping up to sell the cards because they're certainly not selling the cards based on performance increases.
If it ran at playable framerates, we wouldn't hear the end of it from their marketing department. Instead, they're content saying it exists, without mentioning specifics.
Now that AMD and nvidia have to compete for space with the same fab I doubt it.
It baffles me that Windows 10 still hasn't fixed the issue with bluetooth controllers being completely fucked in some instances.
I bought a Stratus XL to try my hand at a cheaper gamepad alternative and it's essentially worthless due to windows eating inputs and regurgitating them at random. The deadzones have to be set abominably high to the point where any analog stick or trigger turns into a button instead, and even then it may randomly decide to hold those inputs for minutes or just no longer recognize them.
Far as I can tell there hasn't been any fix presented by anyone and my controller might as well go to the dumpster.
Considering the ludicrous die size of 754 mm^2 on the 2080Ti, AMD's job just got a lot easier. The biggest question is if they can bring high-performance parts at a big enough volume for it to matter.
Even trying to just get 2 xbox one controllers working at the same time is a fucking nightmare half the time.
Not to mention Steam adding its fair share of bullshit by constantly shoehorning itself onto controllers
I fucking struggled to tell that cunt that a stratus XL is not a steam controller and that I didn't want it to operate as a mouse.

Lmao finally the Vega 64 has competition in the thirst department
Holy crap the 2080 is a failure. $200 more than a 1080 Ti, thirstier, and no better.
This launch has given me the greatest gift of all.
A total lack of buyer's remorse for my 1080
My decision to buy a 1080Ti near the start of the price-gouging looks like a better and better one every day. The 2xxx gen clearly isn't a worthwhile upgrade, the 1080 has all the features games are actually using, I got it like a year ago for not much more than the current price, I have yet to find a game I can't max out, and when I finally do, picking up a second and going SLI will be a cheap fix.
I don't even need a new graphics card. I got this instead

No it won't. SLI support is abysmal these days, and it never really worked great to begin with tbh.
ironically it made things slower
Just get a KVM switch.

Holy shit what the fuck is wrong with nVidia???
Don't buy a reference cooler, ever! Always go partner.
Steve makes a great point here, Nvidia made the single most likely point of failure (fan bearings) the single most difficult thing to access on the entire card. Absolutely bonkers.
