I guarantee you that wodim is faster
why does a iso burner need electron what in the actual fuck not everything NEEDS A WEB BROWSER
My server is reporting RAM running at 33 MHz... I don't think that's right.
I don't know where the keyboard nerds thread is, so I think I'll just post it here. Just bought a Logitech G203 (g102 in some places idk) and a cheap ass OUTEMU Reds mechanical keyboard. What's the consensus on outemu switches?
Love my blues in the generic amazon keyboard I have. A little bit louder than Cherries, which is great in my book.

Ive heard people talk about etcher but what the christ, its like a hipsters version of dd.
*everything that could make you accidently do something you don't want to it's webm for retards but for isos
I've used Speedfan as Speedfan is the *only* one to accurately gauge the FX8350's temperature. AMD Overdrive does, too, but it's the thermal margin rather than actual temperature, so it just shows how many degrees of headroom you have before it throttles. I've got a Ryzen 5 2600 sitting on my desk, and someone mentioned the stock fan curve was aids. Can anyone comment and or suggest a custom curve for it?
Just got it. It's my first mechanical keyboard, and it feels amazing, even more incredible when I paid just 32 €. The thing is, having bought reds, I find that sometimes while resting my hand on some keys I will accidentally press them (being used to a membrane), so I'm starting to think that a blue would have worked better. Anyway, these switches feel not bad at all!
I really had to get used to the red switches in my first mechanical keyb, and it's always fun seeing friends making typos all over the place when using it
Pretty sure those were the search terms in Windows 2000, so absolutely.
If you want to see people make typos, try having them use MX Speed or MX Silver switches. Most people hate it within the first few seconds of typing because they are so sensitive
I'm a Glutton for punishment. I love my speed switches and I type all day.
bought a mothafuckin' Steelcase Leap V2 for my poor spine. best upgrade to the computer zone in a long time
I literally just had to pry up a keycap to figure out what kind of switches I'm using. Cherry Reds, apparently. I can never remember the names of all of them, I just know they're linear, not clicky, and too cheap to have the G or B leds so it's just R. I can definitely feel a difference between different keys but it doesn't impair my typing much, I can bounce from reds to blues to membranes with no problem. What really gets me is weird key spacing or key placement. Compact layouts that move Home/End/PgUp/PgDn above the number pad never seem to agree with what order they go in - my laptop does Home/PgUp/PgDn/End, a small wireless keyboard I use does Home/End/PgUp/PgDn.
Quick question for you all. Is a RX 580 8GB worth $60 more than a RX 570 4GB? It's going to be used for 1080p gaming and probably not super new titles but I don't want to skimp out if I can avoid it.
For this alone I'd do the 570
I'd argue the 580 is worth it for the extra headroom and some minor futureproofing.
I pulled the trigger on a 580. If I'm upgrading to a video card, something I do once every 3 damn years, I can squeak out one game's worth of money to get one that'll definitely last 3 years
The part that sucks about my job is using my laptop :|
Is it a shit one?
Anyone know a good way to fix "double clicks" or "you let go of the mouse for a bit even though you didn't" issues? Not really up for spending 80$ to replace stuff.
7th gen i7 gtx1050 and 16gb ram so by no means no but its just not as fast as my desktop
Still pretty snappy. My XPS 15 is a 7700HQ and 1050 and as long as it's plugged in, it's the fastest machine I use next to my desktop. Was faster than the desktop I edited on at my oldjob.
my work desktop is years old but since it's a workstation (it has a xeon and an amd firepro, can't remember the models) it's still pretty speedy. most important part is that it has enuf ram to spin up like 20 VMs with enough left over to run VS and other fun tools i want more monitors tho. i only have 3
I had four for two days. All in the 970 Took a big enough hit to bring the card to it's knees Now it's connected to the switch and the ps4
My work desktop is an iMac, suprisingly not extremely slow, having a hard drive, does git, photoshop and phpstorm like a champ. MAMP on the other hand is shit a could die in a fire.
I had a choice between a mediun end iMac and building a high end PC and I choose the later. The irony is that I'm gonna have to swap machines with someone who needs to do renders at some point, being that Mac's are not the best at it and my machine has a GTX 1080.
I upgraded from 1680x1050 on an R9 380 to 2560x1440 on an RX 580 and end up getting about the same framerate as I did before
