You can't set up multiple jobs in any licensed Veeam Agent either, but iirc you can do some hacky shit with task scheduler and VAW to get it to run like that.
On an enterprise level you could be keeping multiple encrypted full backups going back however many backup cycles you want
I never turn off my PC, it still happened. Windows Update restarted my PC on the "off" hours and applied the update. Every single time I turn that shit off, it somehow finds itself on after a while.
So I've got my hands on a cheap Cisco 819G 4G LTE router and I'm kinda tempted to set up a basic LTE backup to my internet for when things go down. Any good recommendations for a cheap data plan for this? My router is the Verizon version so it would have to be something on their frequencies. Also feel free to tell me its stupid and not worth it to do this

Reinstall with Windows 10 LTSB. It's the long term service branch. No feature updates at all, only security updates. Doesn't restart unless you ask for it. Full group policy access. It's how Windows should be.
Ten years of support, and new releases every 2-3 years. It's bascially the old versions of windows within 'Windows as a service'. Enterprise Only but like, not like that's a hard gateway
If my 7 keyed upgrade ever deactivates I'm just pirating LTSB, paying for windows nowadays is a bad meme
The first key you use on Windows 10 and sign into your MS account will become the key for your account. For me it's a Windows 8 Pro key, my 10 Education key fucked over my Surface's activation until I switched back to it
yeah because frankly never updating your PC is a stupid fucking idea
TV died today from a power cut. F
80% chance it's a single broken capacitor
At the same time your computer should actually do what you tell it to. If you tell it not to update then it's far from unreasonable to expect it to not update.
except when updating to a "stable release" deletes your files randomly great qc as always
I guess if you have no measure of common sense, you won't ever update. I was talking about letting me manually update whenever I feel like it. Not during a lengthy video encoding process, not while I'm working on a project, not while I'm asleep and if something fucks up I can't see or troubleshoot on the spot with all of the information, and certainly not to an update I already knew had issues. More thinking, less typing random obnoxious things in forums.
They're worth a bit, but I could really use a row of Blacks for my Minicom III project
Never updating your PC is bad but holding a gun to your PC's head and telling it to update RIGHT FUCKING NOW for each and every update is also pretty bad.
MS does their best to convince people to never update.
am I the only one who has never seen Windows act this way ever
I mean plenty of people haven't had issues, but so many have as well. You aren't one of those people who try and pretend the W10 issues don't exist because you haven't seen them, right?
also emergency Sipwicket discord in case Garry does something stupid https://discord.gg/GqQ4NEx
I thought everyone was using Telegram
Discord is better for this sorta thing and not everyone uses telegram ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
the sipwicket telegram has like 7 active users and one of them is samza
How would it be better? We don't really need subchannels for a single thread's chat. Also not everyone uses Discord either.
some of us have our telegram account as our real world identity and would rather not publicize that?
Ah yeah, that's fair. I just don't tend to say shit I don't want tied to me so I sometimes forget about that part.
hi I'm one of the active users
not everyone uses <x> is can be said for pretty much everything though
well noone wants to use 10 different things discord is certainly the most popular among fp users
