Google's .fi domain was busted a couple days ago for like at least an hour, that was pretty interesting on its own.
But now YouTube is dead for me.

Android client is also dead, trying to play back a video just gives playback errors, and I can't access frontpage or subscriptions.
Same over here. LG Youtube app won't load anything either.
Subreddits: surprisingly decent for checking if the problem is global

Time to harass the AMD and LG employees again
and this is why we can't just move to reddit if facepunch ever closed down
Uh oh

Now I understand why Garry doesn't want to store passwords and went full oauth
Anyone know if I grab a SSD for my PS4, can I use some utility in Windows/Linux to copy the data over? A simple dd should do it, right? Don't want to have to redownload everything when I skirt at about 900 GB of Comcast's "Nobody ever gets close!" 1TB data cap.
tbh, it all goes through a USB bridge, you'll be disappointed.
I've been getting better!

What is this, an original PS4 from 2013? I've heard rumblings from people who got launch consoles that their HDDs are finally starting to go.
It's likely because Troy only just recently got the data.
Man, I know it's complaining about how bad a screwdriver is at hammering in nails, but doing a "find the value in this range that matches these criteria" in a spreadsheet is a pain in the fucking ass. Would've been a one-line SQL query, but in spreadsheet it's some very cryptic {=INDEX(C:C, MATCH(1,(A:A="Foo")*(B:B="Bar"),0))} that none of the tutorials really explain right, and it runs slow as balls for no explicable reason.
Side note: Fuck Comcast
Nah, it's the slim or whatever. Yeah, doesn't really seem like it's worth it. Wonder if the added power of the PS4 Pro plus an SSD makes a bigger difference? But then I have to buy a PS4 Pro and an SSD, and that makes what was previously a moderately cheap upgrade not cheap.
SSHD's are usually just as fast in a PS4.
and AT&T
Logged into my online banking while listening to Iron Maiden, the one-time token had 666 in it.
Halloween gets a bit spookier every year.
Spent the last few days reverse engineering the twitch app. The dashboard on mobile shows stream events live on the activity feed. Faster and more reliable then something like streamlabs.
So like, at this point in time, I'm assuming their using a different different websocket URL than what they provide to developers. Because I've determined that it's using a PubSub websocket connection based on their event listeners. However, their development docs actually only list down about four different types of events, instead of maybe the eight they provide from the app.
Yesturday, I found the proper websocket connect function from decompiled code... except it's actually just instructions, since the method can't be decompiled. Which is fine, just took some time read it. But the URL I'm looking for is not actually in this function, it's taken as a string paramter in the class constructor... and the fun part is this contructor is used nowhere according to a grep.
So the next step, convert the apk's dex files to smali bytecode, add a call to the log and install the app back onto my phone. And that didn't install until I figured out how to sign it.
So at this point in time, I've successfully done all the shit I want

Added one of these bad boys to the websocket's send message bytecode

Messages are byte arrays in the function, I rely on existing code that makes a stringbuilder
And well

is it more efficient that a web browser is the real question
I have now acquired three 400GB Samsung 845DC Pro enterprise SSD's for super cheap. Since I've waited like two years for this SSD caching software to come out of beta for server use, I may just go ahead and re-create my storage spaces disks with tiering so I can finally have some sort of caching.
And WS 2016 still doesn't have some simple way of adding the disk as a write cache. Don't care about read caching, just getting data ingested faster and onto some form of protected storage without needing to use Ram. These SSD's are rated for something like 7petabytes of writes so want to work them to death in that usage.
do you have any idea how fast I am, I'm fast as fuck boii

This might sound dumb but if I want to help my friend in Seattle to escape the miserable NEET life, what do you guys suggest I should do to help him? I mean as in job opportunities and such. He's good at tech stuff (going as far to learn MIPS assembly to just mod N64 games) but I can't seem to even get him to get GED certification because he had to dropout of highschool due of reasons he doesn't want to tell me.
I want this dumbass to success not to spiral down even deeper into depression.
If he's done a lot of cool shit, a good github and linked in profile goes a long way into getting him to the door, tho he needs to overcome depression or he'll just continue to be stagnant and rot away.
He sadly doesn't have neither github or linkedin profiles. He's pretty much keeping a low profile so he doesn't really have any social sites other than twitch. The only cool crap he has done is just collecting dust on low-traffic forums and discord servers. I don't really know what to do without it looking like I'm pushing him to do stuff. I offered to help him with stuff, but still nothing.
Building a linkedin and github profile is definitely a good first step. Plus its something he can show off and be proud of.
Though, not having a GED is going to be a bit of a hurdle. Some employers may request to demonstrate that he completed high school or has a GED. Usually out of corporate policy. That could seriously hamper his options if he doesn't complete that. If nothing else, it helps him to be more competitive. Tell him don't worry about it not being a high school diploma. Most employers just want evidence that you finished basic education.
