Wow, have you read anything in this thread? 1. Tabs are at the top because all the controls below the tab do stuff in that tab. Hit the back button, that tab goes back. Click a bookmark, it goes into that tab.
Um, duh? Same in Firefox?
2. Firefox does have a sidebar, go to View>Sidebar.
So I have to go set a non-default option to make it look worse? Great idea.
3. Who cares if a browser copies the best from 2 things and make itself better than both.
Agreed, "internet standards".
4.Gonna make a list for this one Content Scripts = Greasemonkey AdSweep Who cares if it's not in development anymore, it works if you MUST be a dick and get rid of ads. And if you are so arsed by javascript, turn it off. There will probably be an extension soon anyways if it's such a big fucking deal.
Javascript is a big deal. And how is one a dick by removing advertisements? Your ad statement is somewhat hypocritical for not only promoting something mentioned a hundred and one times.
Please note, I'm not trying to convert you. But you seem to not know that this stuff exists for chrome even though they have been said many times in this thread. I'm starting to think that you haven't even TRIED chrome fairly and thus spew the ignorance that you do.
I have tried Chrome , I have read every post in here, my point from the previous post stands.
I downloaded chrome to use for like a week, since i heard it got better. It crashes every FUCKING time i do anything.
Were you using the dev builds? They crashed a lot a few days ago, but it's fixed now.
I love Chrome, it even has Greasemonkey built in for those who use it... Chrome is installed on all my computers, from the netbook to my gaming rig, it preforms quickly on everything.
Javascript is a big deal. And how is one a dick by removing advertisements? Your ad statement is somewhat hypocritical for not only promoting something mentioned a hundred and one times.
Because, you are usually getting a free service from the website, and all they ask is that you deal with the ads on the page. I only tell about it because you re-stated that chrome doesn't have an ad blocker, but it does. I can't control what you do, so how is it hypocritical that I provide the link to something I don't agree with myself? As for the sidebar, you said that firefox doesn't have one. But it does. And I don't see why javascript is a big deal. It's the powerhouse behind most webpages now, so why would you want something that can interfere with that. Yeah I get that there are shady scripts, but common sense and a spyware scanner gets rid of that problem.
I'm using it right now for the first time, I apparently had it installed but I forgot to try it. Pretty fast. Oh holy shit i can drag this box to make it bigger shit son.
Google Chome has a spell-checker? I like it because it's simple. :\
I love Opera 10 beta. It looks nice. Greasemonkey isn't that big a feature, it just goes by different names in different browsers. In Opera its called "User Javascript". Yes I have my monitor sideways when I'm online, its awesome for forums.
that looks horrible
nos217 what looks awful about it? I want to know what you think doesn't look awful, default firefox, chrome, etc? This is the stock setup for opera with a different skin
that is the worst looking browser i've ever seen in my entire internet career
Honestly, as long as the browser works for me, I'll use it. Greasemonkey on FF is really cool, but since chrome isn't mac-related, I'm using FF. On my PC, I have both FF and Chrome installed. Depends on what mood I'm in.
The only issue i have with Chrome is that sometimes Images don't load.
The only issue i have with Chrome is that sometimes Images don't load.
I've never had that happen, weird.
How come everyone is leaving out safari? It looks decent, renders pages the fastest and does a decent job. The only downside I can think of is the amount of resources it requires.
can i recomend this browser to mu mother who got a netbook? she currently use ie 8
If you want.
i mean is it much faster?
Depends. Most people like it. You might as well try it.

Enjoy your flashing pieces of shit that you COULD have gotten rid of, especially on sites such as FPSbanana where they are very hazardous.
As for the sidebar, you said that firefox doesn't have one. But it does.
Where? Even in my own pic there isn't one, I am looking at the side and I see a lack of sidebar. Point it out and no photoshopping.
And I don't see why javascript is a big deal. It's the powerhouse behind most webpages now, so why would you want something that can interfere with that. Example: FP, available scripts - facepunch.com, yahooapis, com, google-analytics.com, googlesyndication.com, skimlinks.com enabled scripts - facepunch.com, google-analytics.com Why? Yahooapis, googlesyndication, and skimlinks are either tracking cookies or ad services.

I like the fact the chrome has the speed dial when you add another tab. It's idea then can credit to another browser but make chrome all the more better.
i mean is it much faster?
Yes download it for her. It's plain and simple and is very fast to load. As everything a person would need with basic need's. It also has add ons. I'm not all for add on because the just adds more memory usage. The fans boy give me disagree's.
does it have mouse wheel click scroll yet?
yes
Is there a Greasemonkey, form autofill, Facebook, Stumble and Noscript addon for Chrome? If so, I'll switch.
Autofill yes, greasemonkey, yes. Facebook, yes. Noscript, no. Stumble...wtf is that? [editline]11:50PM[/editline]
i mean is it much faster?
Yes...Chrome is MUCH faster than FF. In loading time and in browser launching. As well as javascript execution. http://www.chromeexperiments.com Firefox fails on almost all those, while Chrome soars through them because of its advanced javascript reading and stuff.
How do you fail on it? It runs fine for me o0
How do you fail on it? It runs fine for me o0
I want a video. I've tested all of them with Firefox, they run slow, and are shit. While on Chrome, they go extremely fast and do not lag.
I want a video. I've tested all of them with Firefox, they run slow, and are shit. While on Chrome, they go extremely fast and do not lag.
Does it matter that I'm on a mac?
Does it matter that I'm on a mac?
No...it's all about the browser.
Hell yeah. I have it, it runs fast, if I accidently close a tab, I open up another tab that goes to a new tab page, go to recently closed tabs, and open it back up. I can even press back on it to return to page before it. Also, if your computer is a bitch and acts stupid, google chrome closes down and restarts, after it restarts it, it brings back up what you had open. I was in the middle of typing an email and my computer decided to not play nice, google chrome restarted and I was back where I left off typing that email. Google Chrome will soon be able to have addons to the browser, (not including Twitterfox, for obvious reasons....Twitter sucks.) Also Yahan has apparently deleted some of his recent sites, Google chrome most visited websites, allows 9 to be up. >.> He deleted some pronz websites off there. And how is he going to use Bing when he has Google Chrome?

Safari is mac's default browser. The one apple made. Streamlined and holy shit, it's fast.
I can't stand the way it looks on windows but on the mac safari is godlike. But for PC, I stick with Chrome.
Safari is the closest one to Chrome speed wise, but chrome is still faster, i really love chrome and i cant wait for the addons thingy to work 100%.
