Yeah, clock speed makes more difference than more RAM.
Thats not what I'm saying. I'm saying that 800mhz clockspeed isn't too impressive. Unless you actually weren't being sarcastic.
what are your temperatures on full load on the gpu?
70c on full load during summer, 60 - 67c during winter. What about the phenom II X4 945? I am about to buy that. [editline]08:48AM[/editline] http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103809 [editline]10:30AM[/editline] I just bought the AMD Phenom II X4 945
Money burning a hole in your pocket eh?
What fps do you get, OP? Also, for reference, 73fps is the approximate fastest fps comprehendable by the human eye.
Buy better/more RAM.
are you an idiot? rhetorical question [editline]12:11PM[/editline]
What fps do you get, OP? Also, for reference, 73fps is the approximate fastest fps comprehendable by the human eye.
for the trillionth time - the human eye does not see in frames, therefore you absolutely cannot measure "how fast the human eye can see" in frames. [editline]12:12PM[/editline]
A better video card would be good you could get a nice gts 250 1 gb I buy only from newegg as well here you go enjoy http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130514
9800 GTX+ is far better than a gts 250. it's just below a 260 core 216, which itself is also far better than a gts 250. rule of thumb: being new does not ever mean better [editline]12:13PM[/editline]
20% increase is huge, especially with higher and higher tier cards
not at these numbers it isn't
What fps do you get, OP? Also, for reference, 73fps is the approximate fastest fps comprehendable by the human eye.
We don't see in frames per second. I can tell the difference between 60hz and 120hz easily. The reason to have a higher framerate usually is so that you notice the dips in framerate less. When you get a new graphics card look at the change in minimum fps, not maximum. If you have a card that has a max of 60 fps and a min of 15 fps in a game then its definitely worth it to get one that does 65 fps max but never dips below 30 fps.
save and wait for gtx 4xx series, then you will probably be set for a few 3 to 4 years
