maybe, but at least I'm not dumb enough to trust a no-name piece of shit to power my system
Haha you're angry
not really, it's not like it's my problem when everything goes tits up

you'd be surprised at the off brand shit you can buy

shops don't give a shit what they're selling, they just sell what people will buy and unfortunately a lot of people will buy utter shit
The primary FETs are usually the first to go (like what happened in all the tests in the video) on cheap PSUs because they use FETs woefully under-rated for the load the PSU specifies on the sticker.
Other things they do are omit ferrite coils, use Wheatstone bridges of usually terrible quality (instead of bridge rectifiers) and use under-rated capacitors. If you put an oscilloscope on the outputs, they'd probably all have mad ripple current.
Not really, It's just amusing to see how indignant you all are when my PSU is still working

I know that you may feel about it that way, but I can tell, having a PSU explode up in your face isn't fun at all, I've tried it. And, well, it's only been some 4-5 months now, so there's still time for it to make it's show.

Especially when you could've gotten a quality PSU for just a little more.
so you're confident enough in it to brag but not enough to put anywhere near a reasonable amount of load on the system?
haha ok, have fun replacing parts because it lacks basic protection
nobody gives a shit youf goddamn child molestor

You can't take anything posted by a competing company for any value at all. Sure Corsair etc make good power supplies (I use a corsair HX700 myself) but you must realise the difference in their performance to cheap no-one brands is massively hyped up as there's little else to differentiate your power supply in the market other than the amount of output it can give and quality.
I'm not saying run a high end gaming/folding computer off a cheap power supply but for the average user who doesn't run prime95 for 12 hours it won't matter, I mean even if you can, what use it is other allowing you wank over having superior parts.
