This guy sounds like a 13 year old, no offense man.
This guy sounds like a 13 year old, no offense man.
He does but on the off chance he is going to get a computer he should get one of the builds other than his.
:bravo: Get out. [editline]07:52PM[/editline] + 2 5870's and all your other stuffs.
Get that but drop the CM v8 for the mugen 2. And trade out the raptor for this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233092 And trade ram for this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231254
What? Cooler Master V8 is the best cooler you can buy this side of water cooling. [editline]08:36PM[/editline] Wow I'm just going to do my own since no one here is capable (obviously).
Successful troll is successful.
Add two 5870s for a total of $2,529.90. [editline]08:47PM[/editline] Personally I would swap the Lian Li for an 800D but that's your call.
At least put 8gb of RAM if it's $2000. Also replace that Caviar Green with a Caviar Black.

V8 is outcooled by many other other coolers today. It may have been top of the line back in the day when it was released but definitely not now.

"DAYUM U NEED 2 STAY UNSID UR DADDS SHOOP :downs:"
whatever you think is good
coolershitter v8 sucks, grab a mugen 2. I'm on 50 dollar thermaltake watercooling for my i7 860 and it does better than a friends V8 (with a i7 860, too) [editline]03:23AM[/editline] ogod odellus stop trolling, get rid of that stupid marketing gimmick otherwise known as the CM v10 "HEyY LoOK A rAM CoOLER AND ITS THE COOLER MASTER!!!!111!!"
At least put 8gb of RAM if it's $2000. The only cooler that beats it is the Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer.
Don't forget these and the megahalem, and the other coolers that came out since then, don't forget the IFX-14 [editline]05:02AM[/editline] thors hammer
;17984069']There is no 2TB Caviar Black :downs:
So get 2 1tb drives in RAID 0.
So get 2 1tb drives in RAID 0.
Actually they are coming out with a 2tb Caviar black. It supposedly beats the 300gb raptor.
you really shouldn't speed over 1200 on a pc
GTS 250 = 9800GT = 8800GTX no?
GTS 250 = 9800GT = 8800GTX no?
no, GTS 250 = 9800GTX+ 9800gt = 8800gt
A lot of benches for heatsinks vary ALOT because of how they test it. V8 is the best at over clockers club whereas on hardware canucks mugen is.
A lot of benches for heatsinks vary ALOT because of how they test it. V8 is the best at over clockers club whereas on hardware canucks mugen is.
If you view a variety of benchmarks you will see the Mugen 2 outperforms the V8.
If you view a variety of benchmarks you will see the Mugen 2 outperforms the V8.
Negative. In some benchmarks it's not even in the top 5.
;18015963']Negative. In some benchmarks it's not even in the top 5.
I never said it's the best cooler but the V8 is an overpriced cooler anyway. Horrible performance:cost ratio. While you pay $60 for that I can pay $65 on the Meghalem which run circles around the V8. Mugen 2 is a perfect example of a cooler with great performance:cost ratio. While it is large it still gets the job done.
;18015963']Negative. Maybe because we apply TIM right or just use better, i don't know. Its odd that the megahalem does better than any other cooler.
what should i get i see a lot of negatives in here
