Oh god.
In real life it doesn't look so contrasted its something different that will be cool to have at a LAN or something
okay I revised it to be less -out there-
Still have this model M missing the cables 15 + shipping and its yours.
okay I revised it to be less -out there-
Why only QWER?
okay I revised it to be less -out there-
You aren't keeping the OF keys? :(
Why only QWER?
its for league, but I might add back the old ones, trying to keep it more smooth looking [editline]11th June 2012[/editline]
You aren't keeping the OF keys? :(
might do something with the spacebar, dunno
Odd future kill them all don't give a fuck nigger. I am so white trash.
its for league, but I might add back the old ones, trying to keep it more smooth looking
I don't understand. League?
I don't understand. League?
League of legends.
Seems pretty short sighted picking the color layout for a game you're playing at the moment.
Well you see, People are addicted to league. They just cant stop playing, and having a specific keyboard for it makes it 200% better.

I mean, if I had a keyboard that looked like this: It would functionally make no difference to me.
ended up getting this: i'll post pics when it arrives
Just got a call that my keyboard is ready to be picked up from the post office, can't wait to get my hands on it!
Kind of regretting buying blue switches. You can hear them two rooms over. Still, it's fun to type on.
Okay, sooo, after spending 8 hours with this new keyboard, cleaning it, resoldering dead parts, etc, I still have some problems with it. The Enter key gets stuck for no reason at all, some keys feel like there is no spring beneath them and most of the keys do not register every third time. The A key almost never registers. What could cause this? Also, key combinations hardly work, I think there is a problem with the left shift too.
Want a model M for 15 bucks?
Depends on shipping cost.
If you live in america there shouldnt be too big of a cost. ALso cords missing on the M.
If you live in america there shouldnt be too big of a cost. ALso cords missing on the M.
I'll Sell you a cable if you need one.
I live in EU, so shipping is not an option for me. I will not pay over $15 for shipping.
hey guys, I'm thinking of getting the Corsair Vengeance K60 (red switches) for £85, is it good? It looks a whole lot better than the other stuff on the market that I've seen and I tried it out once and loved it, but I have nothing to compare it to. Also, is it viable to get a 2nd hand one (very good condition apparently) for £55? Thanks
So a switch on my G6V2 broke and i just cant fucking open it and grsagfgbfbefgfebfegfebaegffbeaf Help please.
Just a few drops of water and my mechanical keyboard managed to break. Damn, I gotta be careful next time. Didn't know switches aren't like conventional ones. Been wanting a Das Ultimate but shipping costs half the price of the keyboard itself and that will cost about $160. Should I go for it or can anyone recommend me a better choice, preferably with blue switches and a website I can buy from. International shipping please.
Just bought my Das S Ultimate on Amazon, I went with the blues. I don't know how, but I got it for only $100, the price seems back up now though. I'm about to buy another with the browns so I can compare them, then I'll return the one I don't want. Before either of them get here, what do you guys think about them comparatively? I'll be sure to update here once I get them.
Yeah, from what I've seen Model Ms are fairly simple to disassemble, easy to repair, and spare parts are pretty abundant, plus Unicomp sells replacements springs, keycaps, shells, etc

I've seen Model Ms are fairly simple to disassemble
hah no
hah no
How so, exactly?
If the problem is in the rubber/membrane then you're out of luck because that's between the keys and a sheet of metal, and those are joined by a bunch of melted plastic thingies, and inside that is an assembly of hammers and springs and shit. If the problem is there it's too much work and unless you have plastic and a soldering iron then you'll never reassemble it. I gotta say getting that main assembly out of the outer shell to clean it is quite easy, though. Also, motherfucking import shutdown made the price of Blackwidows to go up to $150 in my country. God dammit.

I tried both of them at a shop but I didn't buy em cause I ran out of cash and the shop doesn't accept cards.
