How many have you got and where are you getting them from?
Right now I probably have 6-8 total and I obtain them when ever I can.
Found a never used, sealed box Model M for 70 bucks with shipping and everything. Is that a good price for it? Might buy it. Model is "42H1292"

I'm trying to get my old Model M back into working order. The first problem I have with it isss, I lost the detachable PS2 cable. Looking for a guide for the wiring, I have this old PS2 extension cable that should work if the cable didn't have any electronics in it.
Country? Flag's are broken for me.
I think that Garry removed them.
Country? Flag's are broken for me.
From USA, I think. It was either the Florida, Mi or Wi. I appear to be wrong, it's actually Oregon.
"Vancouver, Washington, United States" on his Steam profile
I am actually in Portland Oregon right now but you were close Vancouver is right across the river.
Tried out using warm water and laundry powder to clean my keycaps, results were fucking amazing and anyone who needs to clean small plastic parts should use that. Found a pinout for the keyboard, now all I need to do is find a PS/2 cable and test it.
Bought a Blackwidow. I love it, I don't get why people bash on Razer and their products.
Bought a Blackwidow. I love it, I don't get why people bash on Razer and their products.
Because they buy other people's products, rebrand them, up the price by 50-100% and market them to "Hardk0r3 G4m3rz" The actual products are pretty good, from what i've heard of.

I enjoy my blackwidow and you can't take that away from me.

Mostly because it's ambidextrous, I use it lefty unless I'm gaming. Works better on my desk that way.
There's this weird belkin numpad thing that they bought and rebranded and doubled the price, if I dig a little more I'll find more examples.
Belkin n52te, I bought it for 50 bucks, then Razer bought it called it the Nostromo and sold it for like 100 bucks. Razer are cunts and I hate them. SteelSeries and Logitech mice supremacy, but with keyboards Logitech is shit and SteelSeries is pretty cheap with their pad printing.

The Ultimate one though, is overpriced.
I have an old rubber dome keyboard that I swore was a mechanical at first The keys are just so loose they rattle and click every time you touch them :v:
I enjoy my blackwidow and you can't take that away from me.
Well that would be pointless, since it's better to prevent than to cure.
I don't see how the Blackwidow is overpriced since in Sweden it's one of the the cheapest mechanical keyboards. The Ultimate one though, is overpriced.
It may be the cheapest, but he is saying its quality is worse per dollar you spend.
Man, I can't wait for WASD to make a Tenkeyless. I've been playing around with my friends and it really is mega comfy whilst gaming.
Well that would be pointless, since it's better to prevent than to cure.
The blackwidow isn't as bad as everyone's making it out to be. It's the cheapest modern mechanical available, made by a name-brand company. If you get a board that doesn't have QC issues you're golden. I bought mine used from QuikKill and I would have just as happily bought it new. The only thing I don't like is the corn "gaymen" font they used for the keys but what can I do. It's still a pleasure to type on and doesn't cost more than other keyboards. For the record my Blackwidow is the ultimate and I've had none of the problems anyone has mentioned, ever. Totally blown out of proportion IMO.
I bet you $1000 it won't last half as long as all the other mechanical boards out there though.
If it lasts a year that's good enough for me.
Welp 80 bucks for a year, or 150 for 15-20 years, your choice I guess.
I didn't say I'd replace it in a year, I got it used and I don't know how long it was used for that so if I get a year out of it I won't be disappointed if I have to replace it.
1-5 years, however long it lasts, it still applies. The BlackWidow is pretty bleh, blue switches only on a gaming keyboard just because they want people who blindly bye stuff to hear the difference immediately, and no NKRO / PS/2 support what the actual fuck? Honestly if you wanted a mechanical switch for gaming SteelSeries / ThermalTake have decent boards, with blacks, and no QC issues. The only problem is fucking pad printing, but, it is what it is.
Anyone seen the KBC Poker? [thumb]http://puu.sh/gafy[/thumb] oh god [editline]8th February 2012[/editline] why do i like small things so much? it looks amazing
I didn't buy it specifically for anything, I bought it because I got it cheap and wanted something that wasn't rubberdome. Believe me, I would have gotten a Das or WASD otherwise. I just think it's not as bad as everyone's making it out to be (see: standard meh razer quality.) It still has anti-ghosting though, I haven't had any problems with that. And the macro keys are cool enough, I can record say certain combos in Rift and it will execute them as I have. Take some and lose some I guess.
