Did you just pull the keys off or use a tool? I really need to take mine off and clean the keyboard AND they keys.
once you get a few off with a paperclip the rest come off with just your finger pulling on them
I've used a pen every time I've took my key caps off :V (my blue heeler ends up getting a shitload of her fur on my hands.. >_> )
Who cares about mildly annoying people when you get an objectively better typing experience, really?
You shut-up. You can no idea how annoying it is to have to listen to the constant clicking of a cherry blue DAS until 4 AM every day. The sound of that keyboard ruined my sleep schedule for a semester, 2AM-9AM for days with classes. I never made it to half of my 9 am classes.
My room mate the following year had a cherry brown and that was much easier to deal with. I get no complaints about my cherry clear Deck Legend either. Heck down the hall from me is a guy with a model m and that isn't hard to zone out unlike the cherry blue click.

Good investment. If I'll have a roommate when I move into a dorm, I'll probably buy a pack of these for him.
Completely redid the OP.
I want a custom WASD keyboard, but when I load the Norwegian layout, select all keys and change them to white some of the characters get bumfucked.
I need help, I'm not really some mech keyboard aficionado, and I was wondering whether I should pick up a Filco Majestouch or a Ducky Shine. Many friends have recommended them to me for both typing and gaming and I'm not sure which one to get. I have typed on a few friends mechanical keyboards before, and I don't notice much of a difference typing in the switches, ofcourse they feel a little different but nothing drastic enough. I was just wondering if anyone here has experience with any of these models of mechanical keyboards.

They're using wingdings and getting changed to arial. Just switch them back to wingdings (they use different ones though and one is webdings)

Well, Filco's don't have backlights and Ducky Shines do (you can get Ducky's without though). The real choice is in the switches, which will be the same for both. Blues click and are tactile (best for typing, average for games), Browns are tactile and don't click (best all rounder, I have a Filco MJ2 with them), Reds are soft and linear (better for gaming than typing) and Blacks are hard and linear (regarded as the best button masher switch).
Bought a CM storm quickfire pro with cherry browns... And of course as I buy it from frys for $100, newegg it up for sale for $85... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823129003 Frys would've price matched it had it of been an hour before I got there...

The easiest way I've found on the Black Widow is a credit card. It's really easy and simple.
Just get a key puller (one of the Filco style ones, they're probably the best)
I bought one from Wasd. pretty good quality. Used it all for my K90.
WASDs wire ones are good too. The plastic ring ones are absolute shit though.

To tell you the truth a key puller is a key puller.
To tell you the truth a key puller is a key puller.
To tell you the truth the wire ones are far easier to use.

To tell you a lie, it pulls real keys.
I've got a plastic ring keypuller and I see nothing wrong with it, it does the job.
Please try and remove your enter key (if you have an ISO layout board). You will notice that ISO enter keys can't be removed with them.
thoughts on the K60?
thoughts on the K60?
Pretty good board for gaming.
Not all the keys are mechanical (e.g. function keys) though.
thoughts on the K60?
Pretty good, though it isn't 100% mech.
thoughts on the K60?
its good unless you use the function keys or the "pgup/delete/end/home key cluster area whatever its called" constantly

Did it
Well, I decided to arrange my keys alphabetically... Bad idea... my WASD, E and F keys are slightly raised compared to everything else so now everything feels awkward.

Go dvorak, its the choice of champions.
[sp]fuck that[/sp]
Did it
How? It can't fit across it vertically or horizontally. (You do realise that by ISO I mean the layout with the double row enter, right?)
For reference I mean this:

Yeah, The ISO key I pulled off was thin compared to that chunky thing.
All of the keyboard in OP have strange keyboard layouts as far as I can see. Are there any keyboards with standard British English layouts?
I was looking at the Steelseries 7G and noticed that the hash key was out of place but that seemed to be the closest keyboard to having a standard layout.

jesus other countries have strange layouts :V
Some kind of US layout represent... single line enter
I actually didn't know that everywhere English speaking except the UK uses the US keyboard layout. huh.
