Typing this from my QuickFire Pro, it's so weird getting used to. It's pretty nice, but reds are a bit louder than I thought they'd be.
Its not the actual keys themselves its just when you bottom out. If you buy some o-rings you can make it a small thump

I kinda want the CM storm trigger just for the full backlighting and USB ports but I'm not sure if its worth the $110. I mean I know backlighting is really ricey but when I type at night I usually have to look down because I lose my place even with the F and J keys. Whenever there is light I can see the keys from my periphreal vision, but at night... Thats completely different..
Yeah I was really looking forward to getting a trigger for when I get my next rig, but honestly for $60 I don't even mind. 80% of the time it'll be off and the other 20% I'll most likely just use the WASD and arrow keys lighting.

For some reason the function keys for volume control and media players don't work :( the windows lock key works and so do the backlight keys so I'm not sure what's wrong.

iTunes, and where would I go about getting drivers for it? There's nothing on the website from what I saw and nothing came with the keyboard other than a manual that says nothing about it.

Well a Ducky Shine would serve the same purpose since it has full backlighting but is really solid and isn't ricer.

Are you sure they don't do NKRO over PS/2 with an adapter? (most boards have USB connectors but you can put a PS/2 adaptor on and it has NKRO)

According to the official news thingie on their site and almost everywhere else, there's no mention of PS/2. Only the 6 key rollover and the "~gold plated USB connector~"

I like the quality of the CM storm trigger though, that and duck shines are $150+ and the trigger is about $110.

I think the Blackwidow's only get 3KRO, so that's still better. 6KRO is the maximum USB can support so most likely with a PS/2 adapter it will be NKRO.

Yeah I did, all of the other FN keys work fine but the F5-F11 don't seem to be doing anything.
huh, thats just odd.
It doesn't really bother me, generally if I want to change a song I alt tab to itunes and use right arrow key, and I have a volume knob on my speakers. The keys themselves work, just not the FN part.
If you alt + tab to itunes and use the macro keys, do they work? cause I remember that I've always had to alt tab to itunes no matter what, I use winamp though.
