Got my CM Quickfire Storm w/ Cherry MX Blues, ignoring the ugly branding, the best thing I've ever owned. I never want to stop typing.
Got it for like 40$ bucks (if you count a gift card)
So I installed the O-Rings I got on my Filco Majestouch 2 w/blues. Typing's not quite as fun but it is a hell of lot quieter at least.

Contents. The only gripe I had with this order is that the alternative FGHJ keys were missing (see empty slots next to alternative WASD keys). I'll be contacting somebody today about that.
Note the extra keyring they gave me on the upper right. It's a small keyswitch for me to press to my hearts content when I'm away from this beast :v:.

Programmable lighting layout (using my example Dota setup). Other lighting quirks include a demo mode, light activated keypress ([B]!![/B]), a 2nd programmable layout.

A lot of people have issues with 10keyless but I find them somewhat attractive for their minimal style. Plus, I need the extra space as the dorm desks our university provide us suck ass. As soon as my monitor arrives, I will finally be able to tuck this laptop away to actually have room for books :rolleyes:.

The keyboard is a 2012 limited release; hence the "2012" on the FGHJ caps.
The entire package comes with the actual FGHJ caps.
It just so happens that mine was not included in the packaging due to some error. The guys at mechanicalkeyboards.com were kind enough to send me replacements though and they should be here in the coming days :dance:
It's kinda a neat feature but I do like having the original FGHJ caps though.
Okay, i need some help of you guys. Only mechanical keyboard i could find in Turkey was Razer Blackwidow. Is it good? Whats its pros/ cons, should i give it the money? Would i be happy with it?

Friend of mine likes the layout and is on the fence between several, including, the steelseries 6gv2 tank.

I don't even understand why they went with that. My $50 Quickfire Rapid allows me to hold both shifts and caps lock and I can type the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog with no issues at all over USB(new mobo required me to sacrifice PS2 support). Was it just Razer trying to skimp on production cost or something?

This is my current keyboard, its not mechanic, but i'm doing fine with it.
I got rid of my Black Widow for 2 reasons
it was interfering with Battlefield 3 play, while sponsored.. because yeah it just cant take all the shit you need to do, 3kro [B]does[/B] get in the way
blue switch is loud as fuck (I dont think I'd ever get blues again, unless I lived alone)

All the people I live with or have lived with use Mechanical Keyboards and the people who didn't loved the sound. I guess I'm just lucky.

Looks rather expensive.
That being said, avoid the 6gv2 - it's fairly poor quality compared to others (e.g. Quickfire Rapid) at the same price.
