Are the MX Black keys also noisy as fuck in comparison to brown ones for example. This large olnine store in Sweden is having 20% off (For one day) on all keyboards but the only ones with MX Brown are the super expensive ones.

Also I would get blacks unless you want to mash keys down with the 85 gram actuation weight.

I used to own a G15 keyboard Ahh back in the days, till I spilled cola inside it I also spilled cola inside my laptop, and my other membrane keyboard and inside my model M, except it didn't even give a fuck, and that's why I love it so..

I'd get that, I have the quickfire pro which is the same except no wrist rest and no macro keys and only partial backlighting.

[editline]29th October 2012[/editline] I ordered the QPAD MK-50 with Cherry MX Red instead. A lot cheaper and I don't care about the loss of fancy glowing buttons or macro keys that I will just accidentally hit when typing. Time to get me my first real keyboard.

It's just REALLY bad, also if you do gaming I wouldn't get a blue switch as they tend to have a weird time being held down.

They do have a very satisfying sound though. If you're certain about blues and want something really cheap though, I know monoprice has something: [url]http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=108&cp_id=10850&cs_id=1080906&p_id=9433&seq=1&format=1#largeimage[/url] Although, I've never used one so I can't really say much about it. It's not NKRO either so that could be a deal breaker. I would personally save up to get something you know will not break within a year.

I just tried a QPAD keyboard at a store today to see what I was actually getting now that I ordered the QPAD 50k or whatever the name is. Holy batman it is awesome, makes me sad that the keyboard is out of stock from where I got it, I have to wait until november 7th. My life sucks etc etc.. :v: Anyhow, Cherry MX Red felt great and I can't wait to get my hands on it. Literally.

Been using this new keyboard for a while now, really like it alot nicer to type on then the blackwidow was, seems more sturdy also, could also be fact im using browns now instead of blues, however they take the same amount of force to press down

filco tkl browns

Is the filco worth it over something like the K60? I really want a tenkeyless model, but they seem to be around $150 compared to $80 for a K60. Also how is the filco without a wrist wrest? It seems rather high and like it would cause some pain.

As for the wrist rest I don't see it being a problem.

When I get a job (hopefully soon) I'm gonna buy a Leopold Otaku keyboard with cherry blues for £90 hnngg the video of it is the most satisfying thing to listen to EVER

Would have gotten my Filco today, but nobody was home when the mail guy came by. It says on TNTs website that "Follow up action" is underway, whatever that means. Apparently they can deliver as late as 18:00 (it's 16:30 here right now) but I doubt he'll try again today. Damn it...
